Bagel Hut is a solid spot for a quick, delicious bagel, but my recent experience left me questioning some of their practices. The bagels themselves are usually fresh, with a nice chewy texture and a good variety of flavors. Whether you’re going for a classic like everything or opting for something sweeter like cinnamon raisin, they typically hit the mark. The spreads and toppings are also decent, and I’d normally have no complaints about the quality of the food. However, during my last visit, something bizarre happened that really threw me off. The guy behind the counter, who is a pretty big guy, inexplicably decided to **smush my bagel with his hands** right before handing it to me. I have no idea why this was necessary—it wasn’t a busy day, and the bagel was perfectly fine until he pressed down on it. It left me with a flattened, somewhat disappointing sandwich. I’m not sure if this was a one-off, but it definitely affected my enjoyment of the meal. Another thing that could use improvement is their payment process. If you use a credit or debit card, they make it annoyingly difficult by hesitating over the fee or acting like it’s a big deal. Just **charge the fee and move on**; I’m fine with the extra cost, but the hassle around it feels unnecessary and leaves a bad taste. Overall, Bagel Hut has good food, but they could definitely step up their service and stop making simple transactions more complicated than they need to be.

My boyfriend went here once to try the place and said the place is good. I’m usually picky on my food but decided to try this place out, went to order the other day and it says they’re open till 2pm but when we called they told us the grill closed at 1pm.. whatever I guess. Today we ordered food and I ordered a breakfast sandwich with 2 scrambled eggs, the lady who took the order read the order back correct, I get the sandwich and take a bite only to realize there are no eggs.. how do you forget like the MAIN ingredient of EGGS ON A BREAKFAST SANDWICH. I get that my order was weird because I put pickles on my sandwich but that shouldn’t make someone forget a whole ingredient. The thing that pissed me off the most is the fact that my boyfriend ordered a hungry man and they didn’t forget his eggs even tho the order was placed at the same time and made at the same time like.. I just don’t understand. On top of all that the orange juice we got wasn’t even cold either. I’m so disappointed in my first experience of this place and likely won’t be going back.

I was in the neighborhood and decided to grab some breakfast here. There was a line going out the door but it moved fairly quickly and we were able to order in less than 10 minutes. I got a bagel with lox and cream cheese -- and it was fantastic considering it was $10! And it came with a coffee and chips. The quality of the bagels was good and they didn't cheap out on the lox or cream cheese. And even though they were very busy, the staff was kind and friendly. They took our orders with a smile and had a gentle and positive attitude. A good morning became a great one because of the good bagels and nice staff. I will be visiting again when I'm in the neighborhood.

Let me start by saying that the food is absolutely delicious and I am very disappointed with the way in which they handled this matter. I called in a delivery order at 9 a.m. they said it was very busy it would be an hour and I said sure no problem. At 10:45 a.m. I called back to say we still have not received our delivery and was told the delivery guy should be here any minute. My order arrived at 11:26 a.m. almost 2 & 1/2 hours after I ordered it!!!! I called them back and was told "Sorry we are very busy this morning." I said so I am expected to pay for cold eggs. I asked to speak with the manager, Gary got on the phone and told me the same thing. When I asked for some kind of compensation for my cold food and 2 1/2 hour wait he said I will refund your card and send my driver back to pick up the food. #1 I thought you were super busy but you have time to send a driver back to pick up food you are going to throw out. #2 You are willing to give me a refund but you want the food back and are just going to put it in the trash instead of compensating your long time customer for the inconvenience???!!!??? THAT MAKES ABSOLUTELY NO SENSE!!! After much back and forth I was told I would receive my refund in full and can keep the food. When I looked at my credit card statement they only credited half the amount charged. When I spoke with Gary again he said I never told him the total so he just refunded what he thought it was. It is with a heavy heart that I say I will never order from here again! And I absolutely love the food but the customer service is trash and the way I was spoken to was completely...

By far the Worst Customer service in the area , I have place 2 orders and were both read back to me and still got the order wrong, countless time forgetting to put salt pepper napkins forks any of that in the bags I have waited 15 mins in line only for the person to tell me the grill is off after 1pm with not one sign in sight that says anything about the grill closing , they have charged me for items on a sandwich and than proceed to make the sandwich wrong and not put what was asked for on the sandwich, there answer for when they mess up your order is okay well give u a credit but mean while, it's not cash it's a card that you can only use in there store , my girlfriend went there and with not one other person in the store and her only ordering 2 sandwiches they gave her food away to some random person that walked in after she waited 25 mins for 2 breakfast sandwiches at 8am, mind you there was 8 people working at one time but not 1 person is actually taking orders this staff has got alot of work to do they are rude and consistently mess up food order and charge for items not included, not professional at all yes the food is okay but with poor service and respect for patrons time n money me and 5 other people will no loinger be attendingthicrappy Deli Again,,,, And To ThOwners and staff that work There That Are reading This You should all be ashamed...
