I usually order the buffalo wings and the fried shrimp. Both are highly seasoned; and crispy on the outside, tender on the inside. The buffalo wing sauce is tasty and coated well. Sometimes, I get BBQ beef ribs. They are tender, juicy and lightly sauced. The sweet potato casserole is divine, but to my disappointment it is not topped with any marshmallows. Once I ordered their lobster Mac and Cheese but never again because it had a scant amount of lobster. I had to ask for more. Besides fried food, they have grilled, bake and pan seared options. This business is located inside the Conoco gas station in Amityville (655 Broadway). Business hours vary, so be sure to visit their Instagram page (@winnies_takeout) for updated hours.

I love Winnie’s, affordable and large portions. The flavor hits every time wether it’s the wings, yams, or Mac n cheese I know im going to be full and happy afterwards. Its a shame people are on here attacking this page and also the physical business.
