Happiness Garden — Restaurant in Town of Palmyra

Have been going here years, usually have some awesome food. Ordered my Singapore rice noodles that I always do and it came LOADED with imitation crab meat that ruined the taste and texture entirely, they were slimy and tasted off (dish never has fake crab). Sizzling scallops and beef came and there was only 3-4 small pieces of beef and the scallops tasted so fishy they had to be off, plenty of broccoli to take up the entire dish however. Then the egg rolls were soggy and tasted off as well. When I called, the nice lady said there was a new guy and next time they will give me extra beef. Does not help tonight now that I am still hungry since I couldn't eat anything. Ever since Covid hit they have really taken a down-turn, I really hope they get back on track as they used to...

If you're looking for a restaurant that serves "Chinese food" that is one level just below Panda Express that is in Palmyra, New York, and that is staffed by genial human beings that will surprise you by telling you it's cash only, but will then point you to the convenient ATM in their restaurant, you have found it in Happiness Garden.

The food wasn't bad, but it wasn't amazing. The fortune cookies we're neither cookies nor fortune tellers and the prices as usual are were a little higher than they should be because of an economy that cannot be trusted to have proper prices.

Do not expect to dine in unless the one table inside is available or the one the table outside is available.

I used to frequent this place on a regular basis to the point we knew the workers by name. I had an issue with the incorrect amount of change given one day and the lady behind the counter did a whole 360. Started screaming and telling us to get out and that we lied. It was only $1. I wasnt even upset. I was only trying to let her know she miscounted. Needless to say I never got my $1 lol, and I never returned. I was a regular customer and the treatment and lack of respect I got over a mistake the worker made was...
