Went on a field trip and loved the history. The folks running the museum, were wonderful people with an amazing wealth of knowledge to bestow. Tons of stunning old photos, uniforms, badges, furniture and war memorabilia. Definitely worth a stop if you're in town! Can't wait to go back with only maybe 3 kids instead of 20. 🙂 There is a day's worth of information in each room, Thanks for saving it for us!

This place is absolutely amazing as it never disappoints with the paranormal happening. As we did a huge Halloween live special on Facebook and captured some awesome paranormal. Tracy is an absolutely amazing and humble and nice person you could ever meet. If you're looking for a paranormal experience, then this is the place you want. Matt of Dark Echoes paranormal TV series

We went on Saturday, it said they were open 10 to 2, but it was all closed. Finally the people came and we got to tour all the Museums, exccept the Alling Coverlet. If you go call ahead to make sure their open. Plus if you want to tour all of them it's $25 for 6 people. It was an Amazing tour, lot of history and a great little town.

I visited Historic Palmyra while checking out places listed on the Erie Canalway National Heritage Corridor. Their website gives descriptions of the five buildings, but doesn't give a true sense of the scale of the museum's collection. Each building has hundreds of items related to Palmyra, the Erie Canal, and Western New York and many, like the Phelps General Store and Print Shop, have entire collections that are original to the building. The staff are knowledgeable and exceptionally friendly, happy to chat about any of the items and share the inside scoop on the historical figures who have lived in or passed through Palmyra. I spent a few hours here and could easily have spent more time. There will be something for everyone interested in the history of New York's...

Amazing little place! We went for a daytime ghost roadtrip and stopped here along the way. This was our first ghost hunt and the employees were so excited and engaged, and were nice enough to let us use some of their dowsing rods. One of us even felt a ghost child hold her hand! For $10, the tour of all the museums is a steal and a must-do for any ghost hunters and/or...
