Palmyra's branch of the greater OWWL system is smaller than many, but it's "quaintness" and history (the building was once owned by the Garlock Co.) make it inviting none-the-less. As Palmyra is a small village nearly devoid of commercial business, this library suits it well. Since it still serves as a hub for OWWL, you can order from a vast selection of materials and have them delivered and held here for your convenience. I have never in my life known such an amazing library staff. I could go on and on about them but I’m sure Google would cut me short. Their best quality by far is the love they show to children. As my daughter has gotten older we go to the library less because of after-school activities, but they never forget her. That has such a positive effect on a child’s self-esteem.
