In town on business, and it's a cold night, blustery night. Staying at the Clarkson Inn. Looked at reviews, and decided to try Lee's (tried their neighbor last night and didn't like the service) in part because of its proximity to the hotel. Lee's is small but clean and bright. The staff waited on me quickly and helped me pick out what I'd like (told them I was interested in the chicken or pork bowl). Got the BBQ Chicken bowl and an order of wings. Not sure what I was thinking, as it was A LOT of food (glad I have a freezer in the room and can take the wings home!). Food was cooked quickly, and I was on the way back to my room with the food (~10 minute total round trip!). The wings were bigger than you get in most places. And SO good-- nice coating and spices on it, a flavor that complimented the bbq chicken. The chicken bowl was delicious-- the only room for improvement would be more veggies, but I'll bet most would be fine with what was there. LOTS of meat. If I were going to be here another night, I'd go back tomorrow and get the pork bowl. I always like going to "mom and pop" local eateries, and Lee's Hawaiian Grill did not disappoint!

An absolutely fantastic meal! The atmosphere may not be for everyone as this is primarily a takeout place, but I had lots of fun dining in and enjoying my PHENOMENAL chicken katsu and bubble tea. Came with the best katsu sauce and mac salad I've ever had, easily. I was able to mix up some of the condiments and make it taste even better. Crunchy and juicy chicken! The rest of the party I was in all ordered the shrimp and that got rave reviews as well. Very nice staff. Overall a wonderful place and would definitely come back again!

Unassuming little spot on the block. Met a very sweet and soft spoken lady who Took orders and cooked. We ordered boba/bubble tea and it was super yummy and nostalgic (just like nyc bubble/boba tea’s). We also got the pork cutlet curry and the garlic salmon. The cutlet curry was great and delicious, but for the salmon, while the flavor is there the fish itself was really dry. Maybe I just got unlucky, but that doesn’t deter me. I will be definitely traveling the 45 mins again to get some grub again!! ☺️
