The wide variety of cuisine choices makes this place a must stop for me each Sunday! Food is fresh, kept hot, and attractively laid out for your selection. There’s ‘surf & turf’ options offered here for those who have the need for distinctive fare. The seafood (surf) offerings include: salmon, several shrimp styles, oysters, scallops, sushi, while land animal meat (turf) offerings include: baked, fried, bourbon street , sesame seeded plus more chicken styles, steak, pork, ribs. Pizza, croissants, French fries, onion rings, fried ripe plantains, Mac ‘n cheese, plain rice, vegetable seasoned rice, yellow rice, for carb choices, will have you almost confused as to what to have. Your kids will love it! 🥐🍕🍟🫒🥗🥦🌶🥒🍅🍇🍓🍤If the temptation to pack your plate with multiple meats makes you yield every time, then the variety of vegetable choices help keep some of the guilt away with healthy helpings available. Lettuce, tomato, broccoli, mixed vegetables, cucumber, pico de gallo, olives, grapes, strawberries, watermelon, honey dew. Pasta choices, with tasty dressing dips, will make it doubly hard to not feel like you’re being personally rewarded here! Dessert choices are suited for a king, there! All the popular cakes, and pastry favorites are well done for your choosing. 🍰🍧🥮🍟🍕They have known tasty juices and drinks served cold, that will entice you to try out some exotic fruit renditions, literally wetting your palate. Oh man!! The staff are helpful, and will answer any questions you may have about the food. Wide spacious walkway areas make navigating the steam table and cold trays, easy and diners are gracious with each other as the peruse the gondolas. You may either dine in or choose takeout. Pricing is fair. A welcomed addition to the Poughkeepsie/Wappingers Falls restaurant landscape, will, hopefully, see this buffet staying here forever! Easy access on Route 9S, and ample parking makes finding it, and dining with family and friends, a...
Read moreThis is not the first time I have been here but this is the absolute worst experience I have had. I was there at 6pm and the salad bar was almost completely empty with no one to refill it. They were running out of plates, again no one to refill but there were five employees chit chatting at the front. While our waitress stopped by often to ask if everything was OK, she did not clear any of our dishes. My husband had to take it to another table that was piled high with dirty dishes. By the fourth time the waitress came by, I finally asked if she could our dirty dishes away. Why do I have to ask? Hmmm. The desserts I would recommend staying away from all together. All cakes are dry as dirt and the rice pudding was watery and had no taste. It didn't even taste like rice. After all these months why are the signs for the food still handwritten? Their selection hasn't changed. Would not recommend and will...
Read morePoints for the place being clean and the aesthetic I guess. Anyway I mean. I get it new business, and I didn’t have any real expectations set. Not a fan of the long wait to be seated, that was rather lengthy. Food was “okay” nothing special, not terribly bad but not necessarily great either. Half of it was dry from being out so long other items were ok. You had several choices of different proteins and it was like American-Mexican-Italian-Chinese offerings. Some of the chicken dishes were undercooked, some sides were greasy (like the mac & cheese). Other meats were ok, some of the desserts were raw in the middle. I’m not trying to slam the place as the people working there were busting their butts to provide a service. I guess we’ll see with time what happens and see as they learn adapt and...
