I gave 1 star because I had to. The manager Cynthia almost caused a family feud! 6/27/21 I called and asked if they could accommodate 11 people and I was told yes, we will sit you next to each other, but we don’t have one big table, that was fine by us. We traveled from NC to attend our granddaughters college graduation (we hadn’t seen in 2 years) and we had little ones who would meet the family for the first time due to pandemic. My husband was in one car with a few family members, I in another- they seated my husband and grands Ali g with one of our daughters and told them we were stuck in traffic and would arrive shortly. They said “No problem” when myself, my 3 others grand, daughter and son in law arrived we were told we could not be seated near them because of pandemic. (Yet there were 3 people in a booth directly behind them) I went to tell my husband, my daughter walked in after me and heard the Manager say- “she can go back there but won’t receive any service” my daughter said that’s my mom your referring to and proceeded to argue with my daughter and tell her “ It’s not us it’s them (pointing towards my husband where they were sitting) they said you are not with them and we can sit you on the back for all we care” long story short, I don’t know how to contact corporate to complain. My husband said they found hair in their food as well. He spoke to regional manager Eric who was there, but there’s still my side and the way their behavior had my 4 year old granddaughter trembling, afraid and crying.. the cashier with the dark brown hair that worked the shift was very rude and nasty as well- there’s so much more to the story…they cater to military yet the wouldn’t sit a member who did 3 tours in Iraq- instead he was sent out of the establishment with 2 crying children and an upset wife thinking her father didn’t want her at dinner. SHAME ON YOU! Cynthia needs to be terminated for the...
Read moreMy wife and I love Texas roadhouse but this experience really turned us off. For starters we were seated at around 8:13pm from when I got the text message that our seat was ready and we ordered our food basically right away. We knew what we wanted before we came to the restaurant. So first thing I ordered my chilli to come before my meal and that never came. Second It came to the point where an hour went by from when we were seated and it was now 9:15 when I finally decided to get up and go to the front desk and ask where my food was right when the host upfront went to check she immediately came out with my food. I'm not sure if the server forgot our meal or the kitchen was slow but there was a table behind us that sat down 5-10 minutes after we got there and they got their food way before us. All I ordered was a steak medium rare with rice and chilli and my wife ordered a salmon with chilli. That's all we ordered nothing crazy. So right when we finally got our food an hour later then the manager came and apologized which I appreciated and then proceeded to tell us that we would get a 30% discount because no one should wait more than 20-25 minutes for their food. Well we are our food and then got the check and no 30% discount applied to our check. We didn't even bother telling the server that the discount wasn't applied we just wanted to get out of there. Probably the worst experience I've ever had personally at a Texas roadhouse. We don't think we will ever go back to that specific Texas roadhouse ever again...
Read moreOur first time at Texas Roadhouse and I would say it would be our last as well. We came back from a nearby waterpark and wanted a quick dinner before going home. My husband wanted steak so we decided to give this place a try. We didn’t have reservation but was seated right away. Our server was Taigan and she took care of us. We ordered the grilled shrimp and buffalo wings for appetizers. The grilled shrimp wasn’t great.. it was 5 pieces of shrimp on a skewer on top of bread. Some of the shrimp was not grilled properly. For main course we got the hand cut bone in ribeye and ft worth ribeye. Loaded steak fries, cup of chili, Caesar salad, and seasoned rice for our sides. The sides were ok… we only enjoyed the cup of chili and Caesar salad. The seasoned rice was a little undercooked and steak fries were ehh. For the steak, we specifically requested medium rare, server also asked if pink on the meat is good and we confirmed, there were maybe 3/4 pieces that had pink center, but the rest were on the medium and well done side. We brought this up to our server and she asked if she can do anything about it. We said no because what could’ve been done at that point? I guess this review is more for the cook/kitchen staff. I don’t get the hype around Texas Roadhouse. It was an ok experience for us and it’s a one and done. We’ve had better food experience like at longhorn steakhouse or Outback Steakhouse. We were disappointed and dissatisfied...
