Went on a Saturday night with a party of 5 adults. We all enjoy Peruvian food and were excited to see this place pop up on maps with such high ratings. It was surprisingly empty on a Saturday night. We were one of 3 tables seated. During our time there, there were no more than 3 tables seated.

The staff were friendly and nice to us given we were celebrating a birthday. Our drinks came out staggered with the last coming out after we had already gotten our food. Most of us had gotten Lomo Saltado as it is a very popular Peruvian dish. We were disappointed to find out that not only was our food slightly cold but the flavor was lacking in a dish that we have grown to love for its great seasoning and flavor. Cocktails were also lacking in alcohol and mostly tasted like juice/mixer.

They were sweet however with bringing out a dessert after hearing we were there to celebrate a birthday. So that we really appreciated.

For how empty the place was it did take us a long time to get the waitress’ attention to get our check and then to even given her our payment. Overall we were left underwhelmed and disappointed given the restaurants high rating. Unfortunately we will not...

You walk into Peru Cuisine Bar & Grill 2 maybe expecting something passable—Pan-Latin decor, the usual fusion tropes, polite but forgettable food. What you get instead is… conviction. Like someone’s actual heritage is at stake. Like someone back there is cooking as if their grandmother is watching.

The ceviche? Bright, clean, citrusy with real depth—none of that over-marinated mush that passes for ceviche elsewhere. The lomo saltado is straight comfort, the kind that earns the word. Even the rice is seasoned with intention. Every bite feels built—on tradition, on memory, on actual skill.

There’s joy in the plating, soul in the sauces, and pride in everything else. I didn’t expect to care this much. I do now. And I’m telling everyone. You should go—not because it’s “good for the area,” but because it’s just good, full stop.

I’ll be back. Probably too soon. Probably with people I...

at around 8 pm I went with my family celebrate our anniversary, restaurant was completely empty. Server lady was very friendly and bring one small ramekin fry corn for 6 ppl. She’s not offer any drinks, I order kids food first and food come very fast after I ask her bring water for kids. I order bottle of wine and 3 wine glasses all 3 wine glasses was very dirty and one of glass was still lips stick mark, our salad come very dry, server bring only one piece empanada but before she tell us come 3 empanadas per order, empanada was not fresh. My steak was very chewy and mom chicken order was very dry and she’s not bringing my wife salmon order. We thought they still cooking fish. After little while I ask fish order and our server completely forgot order fish. My wife cancel order because she wait long time. I want to order dessert but my family was very disappointed and not...

This place is just 12 days old and it is the ONLY Peruvian restaurant on this side of the river. My dad and i ordered 2 appetizers (causa de pollo & papa la huancaina) and they were on point, hit the spot. The main courses we ordered were the aji de gallina and the pescado a lo macho. I was taken back on how delicious those platters were. Everyone has to come and try this place out, you won't be disappointed. They don't have their liquor license yet but the owner told me it was coming soon....it's gonna be even better when they do. I have been waiting for over 13 years (since moved up here) for a Peruvian place on this side and only hope it's here to stay...please show your support so that it does. UPDATE: They now have their liquor license! Have to try the passion fruit pisco sour!

This restaurant just opened up a few days ago and we wanted try it as soon as we could. Great menu with lots of different Peruvian items to try. The first batch of what we had was great and we will be coming back to try more of their menu. Their rice chaufa was so fresh and had a great combination of asian and Peruvian flavor, the added beef was cooked perfectly. The churasco meal was delicious and had a little bit of other menu items included to try. Our table liked the ceviche and will be trying the shrimp one next time. The desserts all sounded good so we shared 3 of them and recommend any of them.
