I had to cal McDonald’s just to make sure they were open (because of the snowstorm we just had and I didn’t have any food) and the lady said “I answered the phone didn’t I?”
dude.. How unprofessional do you have to be? Like I understand if you’re having a bad day..but come on.. I go to the McDonald’s all the time.. like, holy hell like it ain’t hard to be nice 12/18/20 (2 stars) —- UPDATE 12/19/20
I called back again at 6pm and another person answered the phone, Becca, one of the night shift managers. Because it’s one of the other managers there and said ‘only managers should answer the phone’ (my guesses either another manager answered or an employee did)
I told her I go to this location as a college student when I don’t have any food to eat back home (I’m 5 mins away). I told her in a loyal customer and I’m always super nice to the employees there and allot of employees acknowledge it, since I know what it’s like to work fast food. Becca offered a free meal as an apology, and I’m welcomed back, and that she said she was sorry I was treated like this
I really appreciated it. I understand that especially because of the virus, it’s tough on people. I only called to make sure they were open because it snowed- I lost power and I could cook anything, which is why I planned to go that night, but after the rude call, I didn’t and I felt heartbroken I feel a lot better now. I usually don’t like to complain because i don’t want to be an annoyance or a hassle, but being disrespected when asking a question isn’t ok.

Read moreI normally just cruise thru the driveway. After discovering the mobile app for my convenience I used it and it went all wrong from there. I pulled up and placed my order at the post and gave them my code. When I got to the second window I was handed the wrong item so I handed it back to the employee and instead of them throwing it away after I touched it they placed it back on the drink station. I was charged twice because the manager not the Gm just another manager had said I gave them the wrong code of which I didn’t they just put it in incorrectly or something on their end. Long story short a 3 min trip turned into a 35 min wait for them to get my change together and back out to me accordingly after asking me to come inside I declined that’s not why I drove there if I wanted to go in I would’ve never used the app. I then call back to speak to the GM ALEX and he instead of just letting me vent and get what was bothering me off my chest he cut me off and told me if I wanted to have a conversation further about this for me to come in. So in my spare time I will indeed come speak with you one on one but I want others to see this and understand communication goes a long way and it’s not what you say it’s how you say it. Read more(Poughkeepsie: North Rd. McDonald’s) The customer service is terrible! They ran out of regular whipped cream and so they gave me pink whipped cream instead. Since that wasn’t what I ordered, I asked the employee to please give me a milkshake with the white whipped cream like I ordered, to which he responded that they ran out of regular whipped cream. I asked why they wouldn’t just do no whipped cream or ask me what I wanted to do, to which he snapped “this is what the boss said.” So then I requested he give me a milkshake without whipped cream. After he closed the window to get the new milkshake, I could hear him loudly complaining about my request, cursing, and even mocking me with a rude imitation of my voice. Then he opened the window and handed me the shake, and mumbled something (some kind of nicety) before closing the window again. Customer service was truly terrible, and the new milkshake was obviously the old one poured into a different cup, which was evidenced by the pink whipped cream residue on the inside of the new lid.
