Tonight I called in an order for a large pizza, with both extra cheese and pepperoni. I think the price was around $16-$17. I never set high expectations for a place I’ve never eaten from before. But it’s simple, quick, and affordable for a family of 3. I use to live in Brooklyn, and I was surrounded by a lot of good pizza restaurants. The pizza is usually delicious and the price will be well over $23.00 with extra toppings like the pizza I ordered from Mila this evening (01/14/25). The pizza was made fresh. When I asked for extra cheese, extra cheese I got. The pepperoni alone had a nice flavor to it. I always pick off my pepperoni and eat that first. I was very surprised at how much I enjoyed my pizza. The customer service was top notch in my opinion. There is something on the menu for everyone’s taste, needs and wants. The pricing is decent compared to the other local restaurants. I just noticed that they deliver and stay open to 2am. I have a place to go when I work and get off late. The only other options were taco bell and Wendy’s. Sometimes you just want something different. The restaurant does offer a bar (no liquor) like section if you want to grab a quick bite and eat in. Very clean and well lit. I’m thinking of going back again. And I will definitely update this review if anything changes. To date, all 5 stars are...
Read moreHave ordered from here a couple of times so far. I love the fact the food is HALAL! That is the best thing. Also you can ask them personalize your order any way you wish and they will accommodate you. I wanted my pizza done with thinner but not crispy thin crust and with less cheese bc I am always looking for a more traditional Italian kind of pizza (truly different than American greasy overloaded pizza) so I just explained to the man & he did as I requested. The pizza turned out perfect 🤌🏼💋 We have also tried the chicken/beef shawarma over rice. My husband liked it, but he is not so picky as I am. I never think the rice are flavorful on these shawarma over rice dishes, no matter what restaurant they come from. I've tried several places & never satisfied with the rice. I didn't care for the meat very much either. It's about texture & flavor for me with gyro/shawarma/whatever u wish to call it. Sometimes the meats are fattier or maybe cooked less crispy before cutting. It's ok that you didn't pass my approval bc I am so very particular about it. 🙂 I still think the service is wonderful, the guys in there are very kind and helpful. Also they have such a wonderful selection on their menu. I look forward to trying some other things in the future. Thanks for bringing another halal restaurant to Poughkeepsie! We needed it...
Read moreWe chanced upon this small but good Mediterranean restaurant while driving by. It had only been opened recently, and there was no option to dine-in. The menu offered several choices, and most items were reasonably priced. While we waited for our take-out order to be ready, the owner offered free tea with mint. That was not only refreshing but also a warm gesture from him. The platter of kebabs on rice was generously filled, and the falafel was prepared fresh just for us. Food tasted very good and left a good impression...
