Hands down the best experience I've ever had with an emergency call out service. I was locked out of house as my keypad door lock malfunctioned (batteries were brand new and fully charged) and I had left the key inside. I called Mike, the owner, and he said he would send a technician out to us. Unfortunately, he was unable to get a tech quickly so he and his wife hopped in the car and came over to do the job. Mike was at my house within 35 minutes, as promised (on a rainy night at 10PM), and got straight to work. He explained everything thoroughly, got us into our house, and even provided us with a lock for the night so that we did not have to sleep with the door open or take off of work the next day to not leave the unlocked house unattended. He was upfront and honest about the charge for the service call when I first contacted him via phone and it was a flat rate with no hidden fees or additional charges for the job or the time spent. Great service all around from Michael at STAT Locksmith. I tried calling other local locksmiths several times and always got voicemail requesting to 'leave a message and we'll get back to you'. When I called STAT Locksmith in the morning, Michael answered the phone and I described the service that I needed (to have an extra key cut for one of my cars due to a previous one being damaged). He asked me to call him back later the same day to check whether he could be available that day or if we'd need to schedule a time the following day (because he had another job in the area he would need to complete first). When I called him later in the day, he answered right away and said he would able to swing by my house to do the needed work; right in my driveway. Once he arrived, It probably took all of 15 minutes to complete the work and the pricing was reasonable. He was very professional, seemed to really 'know his stuff' and was friendly and 'straight to the point' with no 'BS'. Not a bad company at all, but not great due to lack of communication. I was having an issue with my key fob. Even with a changed battery, I couldn't get it to work. A gentleman met me at my place of work to see what was wrong with the fob. He replaced the battery, to which got it to work again. I inquired about getting a new Key Fob, and he said he could do it right there for me for about $255.00 I agreed to move forward with the key fob, but he did not have my model of fob in his vehicle I guess. He was then on the phone with his boss he stated asking if a different model that was similar would work for my car. He then stated he would give me a call shortly once he got confirmation from his boss he could use the other model, no to worry they would fix it for me and left. Never heard from them after that.
