Lindt Chocolate Shop — Restaurant in Town of Queensbury

I’ve come here in 2017, 2018, 2019 and just yesterday on April 10, 2023. The chocolate is delicious but the customer service was dissatisfactory 😒 Upon walking into the store, I did not receive any samples whatsoever. The customer service representative who is filling in chocolate with the short hair up to her neck was very rude. The young blond girl with the ponytail did not offer chocolate to us when she saw us. But she did offer chocolate to other people walking in the store leaving what she was doing just to serve them. Was it because they were dressed well? Or perhaps because the other customers were white? The cashier that served us on the other hand was such a sweet and helpful lady! Her name was Sandra and she was very kind and polite. I would give her a raise, she checked us out at 3:42 PM on Monday April 10 (yesterday). It as for the two other employees, they should fix their stinking attitudes. Worst experience! We have been here multiple times and received free truffles on entry. Always happy on prior visits. Sale buy 2 get 1 free. We choose 2 pre made and collected our own personalized sample mixed. Apparently we were over. Oops by ten she said. Those ten came out and then it was REweighed and she took one more out. ARE you kidding me. God forbid you gave one away. She didn't reweigh the prepared ones .Suppose it was under one?. You have lost a customer. No more planned stops in Lindt Lake George. Simple math would have solve everything and a little holiday single truffle lost...

Besides the dark chocolate truffles that I like, I usually purchase their "Italian Chocolate s". Their raspberry cheesecake ones are quite awesome!!! (They used to have a berry flavor too, but it's gone. My girlfriend liked their Italian jellies, but they don't have them anymore. And their fruit filled bars are gone too.) I wish that they would bring some of those chocolates back. The new strawberry cheesecake truffles are not the same. Not "tangy" enough. Sorry Lindt!!!...
