Leil Shishi Diner & Catering — Restaurant in Town of Ramapo

My one piece of advice for anyone coming here is ONLY BUY CHOLENT. I say this for two reasons: 1: If you Google cholent, it will give you direction to 8 remsen avenue, Monsey NY. The cholent here is CHOLENT, man. Absolutely mouth watering. The most delicious cholent I’ve ever had in my life. 2: Although the other menu options may look tantalizing, trust me when I say ONLY BUY CHOLENT. Everything else is meh. They should rename it Leil Shishi Cholent bar. I mean that cholent is just wow. Don’t be fooled by any of the other food, just buy cholent. Other then that, the service is amazing and the place is definitely hopping Thursday night. Oh, and if you wanna see the best 100 definitions of a yoeli, most definitely come here on Thursday...

I would never give them any business. One of their drivers, Fabricio Hildago Alvarez, smashed into my car while driving their van while intoxicated (.11 on the breathalyzer, per the police report) and caused over $17K in damage. My daughter was also in the car with me. We both could have been killed, and were very lucky we weren't. Alvarez hit my car so hard that the Diner's van he was driving flipped over and slid on its side into a little league fence. Both vehicles had to be towed away. And from Leil Shishi Diner and Catering? Nothing. No apology. Nothing.

And to the owner's comment below: My signal was on. And if I had actually started the turn, I would have been killed. Perhaps you shouldn't cite as "fact" something your drunk...

Talk about bad customer service, tonight I saw a worker here give a customer the finger. I’ve seen said worker lose his temper when a customer felt he was mistakenly overcharged (turns out the customer was indeed overcharged) and asked up at the counter. I pray the management will fire him which will allow the pros to outweigh the cons because right now any semblance of pro is being stifled by one...
