Amazing Takeout Experience!I recently ordered takeout from MECHELS, and I must say, it was a delightful experience from start to finish. In the dictionary next to the word heimish, there is a picture of Mechel's. The food is Jewish soul food - brisket, cholent, kugel, kishke, deli roll, etc. Fried chicken on a stick is worth seeing and trying. Deli roll has a glaze which makes it sinful. Overnight kugel tastes good enough for two nights. Cholent is meaty, beany, big, and bouncy (who knew?). The sandwiches are served on a sliced baguette - rye bread is for sissies. This place is home to so many people. If you are in monsey then you are obviously stopping by Mechels this place is a family name. The owner is a father to so many. This place has accomplished more then Hatzal,Chaverim and so many other organizations put together. This is the place to go for all your takeout needs. I come here when I'm not even hungry. Mechel serves something better then food. He serves something called Love he accepts and appreciates everyone that walks into his store.
