Extremely Disappointing Experience
I recently ordered from Sergio’s via UberEats and was extremely disappointed with my meal. I ordered two veggie slices of pizza, which were supposed to include eggplant, black olives, and garlic. However, the slices I received had none of these ingredients. The pizza was stale and cold, and even after reheating, the cheese wouldn’t melt.
I also ordered garlic Italian bread with mozzarella cheese, but what I received was far from what was advertised. Instead of Italian bread, it was a sub hero bread that looked like it came from Subway or a supermarket. The bread was stale, the cheese was clumpy, and it lacked any real garlic flavor. To make matters worse, the cheese just peeled right off like it was plastic. The picture on Uber Eats and their online menu was very misleading. I don’t even think it’s pictures of their food. I can’t believe it took 50 minutes to prepare such a poor meal. Despite the Uber driver being only eight minutes away, everything arrived cold and unappetizing.
The Italian wedding soup I ordered was also a letdown. It came with another piece of the same sub bread and was cold and flavorless. The soup was fluorescent yellow, had no liquid, and when I placed my spoon in it, the soup stuck to the spoon. It had a weird consistency and chemical flavor. I can’t believe it took 50 minutes to prepare such a poor meal. Despite the UberEats driver being only eight minutes away, everything arrived cold and unappetizing.
Overall, this was one of the worst meals I’ve ever had. Thankfully, Uber Eats refunded my entire order after seeing the pictures I sent. I rarely write bad reviews, but this experience was so bad that I felt compelled to share.
You should not be In the Italian restaurant business, if you can’t even buy Italian bread or garlic to put on your items. It’s sad that you don’t value your customers enough to even give them hot food. I truly believe that all the photos that are from the restaurant are not their items. Thanks to Uber Eats representatives agreeing with me. I don’t feel bad that I threw an entire meal because I got my money back! I wouldn’t even leave it for the raccoons to eat. If you want real Italian food or just a good slice of pizza and some garlic bread, go to Uncle Joe’s, Gino’s or Mama Lisa’s. Now I know why Sergio’s is offering BOGO on their hero’s. They can’t get rid of their food...

I ordered 4 Philly everything (lettuce, tomatoes, onions mayo jalapeños mushrooms)!!! And I received 4 plain cheese and meat cold héroes ! I waited over 1 hour and a half , I called several times and when I told them if they can take back the food and give me a refund they refused and told us they couldn’t because it was ordered through chownow ??? I go back on the app and there is NO option to get a refund this is ridiculous, their staff is so unprofessional , we’ve been ordering for years and this place has gone completely downhill!!!...
Read moreI came in during lunch time and I was trying to pick up food for my co-workers and I. I ordered a head and they did take a few minutes more which isn't the biggest problem. The main problem that I have with them is that they are very pricey and I can get similar tasting food for less. The other thing that was a major problem as well, is that they had a sign that if you bought one pie you can get the other pie for 50% off through Uber eats. The sign also said that if you already ordered it's not too late to get that discount. When I asked the cashier about getting that discount because the sign said that I can still get it even if I was in store they didn't want to give me the discount. So I paid what I needed to pay and left with my food. I don't plan on going back, because of the service and because I can get better tasting food for a...
