Signature Bagels Deli & Catering — Restaurant in Town of Riverhead

It's usually hit or miss with this place. The food is very good no doubt about that. But the service on the other hand can be questionable. I've had my orders wrong on more than one occasion. But today was really a show stopper. went in on a Sunday not realizing there were no specials-- they only do them during the week. No big deal tried to get my card stamped because I was purchasing five meals. Forget getting a free meal when the card was finished flat out refused to stamp my card at all because it was a weekend! Regardless, I purchased burgers as meals and they would only honor the soda with two of the burgers and told me for the other three meals that even though I was making them a meal I would have to pay additional for the sodas. As ridiculous as it was I still purchased them just to get out of there and no to have to go elsewhere only to be spoken to rudely. Of course half my order was wrong and my to go orders were prepared early even though I specifically requested that they make them later so that they wouldn't be cold when I brought them home. I would have complained to the manager but I don't think it would have made much of a difference at that point.Maybe they were tired because it was a Sunday and their service reflected this??Today was really bad usually not that bad but I don't care how good the food is or isn't it certainly isn't...

Worst place to go for food. I went there to order 2 breakfast sandwiches, I gave the girl my order and waited over 30 minutes and still didn't have me sandwiches even though people that ordered after me received theirs already. I inquired as to what happened with my sandwiches and apparently the girl never put them in the computer. She apologized and said she would put them right in. This time it only took 2 minutes however upon receiving my sandwiches they were incorrect. I then informed them of this and they said what I have in front of me is what they had put into the computer but would fix it anyway. Obviously, if the girl that took my order initially couldn't handle it correctly why would she be able to handle doing it correct the second time? The girl that took my order only cared about catering to one customer instead of ensuring that everyone was handled correctly. I would not recommend going to this establishment. I know these places can be very busy but it's not too much to ask to get an order to the customer correctly. As for the food, it was bland and the potatoes were cold and soggy. Whatever you do avoid this place...

I used to LOVE! signature bagel I swore by it! But since the change in ownership everything has fallen off. Customer service does not exist. There is a man with dark hair that is SOOOO RUDE!! I’ve tried to come back a few times and each time he’s STILL RUDE! and the food UGH! I used to love the home fries now they are just cooked potatoes.. no crunch no flavor no love. The bread is ALWAYS STALE no matter the time of day. Trying to call in your order is a joke! You’re on hold for 15-25 minutes so it’s pointless to even call because you get there before they take you off hold, and the women that gets on the phone you have a 50/50 chance she’s going to be so un-interested in her job that she will sound miserable and irritated that you even called and STILL get your order WRONG. I’ve tried to give the new owner a chance because this was literally my favorite breakfast/lunch place I told so many people about it and I know it takes time to get used to the business and get into the swing of things but I give up! I am so disappointed! If I was the new owner I’d definitely take a hard look at the people you’ve hired to...
