Mark's Grill — Restaurant in Town of Rotterdam

So you can see my pic that i posted of the bar pie. Very strange cheese thing going on there. It is mainly a fried dough circle with very thick sauce atop and a sprinkle of cheese. Not what i expected. I just wanted a light snack. This is the lightest. Food here is pretty heavy, no light choices too evident. I do think they had a few salads, but at this point in august i am tired of salad. Staff is nice. 1 red wine to choose from. Hubby enjoyed a beer on tap. Mostly locals hanging out. Felt like am outsider but that doesn't bother me. ...

Recently moved to the area and figured we give this place a try. What a bad idea. Service was slow, with the staff only seeming to care about its regulars at the bar. The food was terrible. Got a burger that tasted burnt and dry, and my son had a turkey sandwich that was bland and somehow very soggy. They dont take cards, only cash (I can't imagine why), but theres a "convenient" ATM.
