I visited the route 50/Saratoga location and was so disappointed. I brought the kids there for the play place. We've only been there twice in 2 years. Both times we had terrible service. The first time was so bad I had to call hq and complain. My daughter was served a raw quarter pounder. They replaced it with a new sandwich it just wasn't a quarter pounder. They repeatedly made my food wrong. The staff was violating almost every food safety law possible. And the wait time was ridiculous. It wasn't only my order either. It was every inside customer. I was on the phone with management for at least an hour. She watched the tapes and called back to apologize. Then we try again the other day and the wait time again was insane. Noone to man the register. The order it yourself machines where glitchy and there was no table number things so I just put in any number. At one point I hear someone in back yell to the employee sitting next to me.. your break is done, he yells back well I been waiting for my food for over ten minutes, as he holds up his receipt. He was there waiting longer then me. He used his entire break waiting for his lunch and was expected to go back to work without eating. By the time our food was done, the (different kid) kid didn't call out a number ( I was standing right there) he just took the tray and walked around and then mumbled well I guess they don't want their food then.... I said what is the order number because you didn't call one out? It was our food. He very rudely handed me the tray and walked away. Again, it wasn't only our order. Ppl from the drive thru were coming in to correct their orders. Doordashers we're ready to leave without the food. Who wants to deliver cold McDonald's fries? We all know those do not travel well and are not reheatable 😆.We live in Schenectady and only occasionally go to that location for the bigger play place. How do you go to Saratoga and get worse service then I've ever gotten at any Schenectady McDonald's?? Twice?? Never again. Calling to complain the first time was obviously a waste of my time. Read moreCalled this location ahead of time and asked if they had the new Wrecked Ralph Toys, which was confirmed yes, asked if they had ALL the toys available, they said yes. Arrived 10 mins later and asked to purchase the toys which all the sudden had only 1 kind. My kids were upset and disappointed but i reassured that we will have to get the rest later, at least having the food. I ordered 2 happy meals and the 6 dollar fish special, and said to go please. My food came out on the tray, i told the cashier nicely it was to go. Next thing incorrect was my fish was charged as a number 6 instead of 6 dollar meal. The cashier seemed to not carr that it was incorrect and at that point had messed up 3 things from a simple order. I believe the manager was trying her beat to train and make it right but unfortunately the cashier she has is rude and makes unnecessary comments. Too many people in the world work as food service workers and do not like their job. In my opinion, this lady shouldnt be working where she is if she is judgemental, doesnt care and messes up simple orders without apologizing on top of it.
I would avoid 5 corners McDonald's until better...
Read moreI went in to buy a spread of food for the crew at my shop. When I walked in, a customer was waiting on an employee to sort out an issue. I overheard the customer say, "I think she hates me" as the employee returned. The employee explained that the issue was regarding a mobile order and couldn't be helped. The customer was calm and polite, understood, and started to leave. As she walked away, the employee muttered, "learn how to order." The customer asked her to repeat what she said but the employee hid in the back. Another employee was passing by. The lady explained what had been said and requested the rude employee's name. This employee told her, "Samantha." The customer thanked her then left. The second employee then went into the back and laughed with her coworkers about giving the customer a fake name. As they high fived one another, I stepped out to inform the customer that the employee had lied to her and was quite pleased with herself about it. The customer went back in to address the poor customer service. I chose to take my business elsewhere. I will not do business with this McDonald's and will discourage anyone I know from going...
