El Callejon — Restaurant in Town of Rye

The place is small but it’s cozy. I love how it’s decorated, very cute. There’s essentially no parking because they have like 7(?) spots available but with the bar next door, the chinese restaurant and the mini grocery store its almost always full. The menu is small but has good options. The prices are about the same as any other columbian restaurant here in westchester. I had the guac and tostones (enough for 2 people), the milanesa de pollo and the churrasquito. The food overall is good, it’s yummy and has that homemade vibe/flavor. I’ll definitely be coming back to try the cocktails! I hope the quality of food remains the same because i’m glad I have a new columbian...

I had such a wonderful experience at El Callejon! The food was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every dish had so much attention to detail, and you could really taste the quality of the ingredients.

The service was just as impressive—warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming without ever feeling rushed. Our server made great recommendations and checked in at just the right times, which really made the whole evening feel special.

Beautiful dishes - aromatic, fresh and bursting with flavor. The mixed greens (sans bacon) boasted a citrus vinaigrette that was nothing short of sublime. The snapper was about the best I'd every had, thanks in part to the salsa that accompanied it. Drinks and desserts were all standouts. And Ismael and Luisa, the owners, are absolutely lovely.
