John's Of Arthur Avenue — Restaurant in Town of Rye

if I could give them a review and give them less than a star, I would. I have been treated poorly by the rudest wait staff I have ever encountered. While we were being seated, I requested to sit at a booth, and I was declined quite rudely by the lady saying that they were only meant for 4 people for a booth and there were only three of us. I overlooked this until the next customer walked in by himself and was seated at a booth. As I am ordering I asked for one slice of pizza and in the snarkiest rudest voice the waitress replied to me by saying, "you have to order a whole pie" I was quite puzzled by this as I have ordered by the slice before. After receiving my WHOLE pie I saw the same man that was seated at the booth order one slice of pizza without a problem. I believe I was treated very poorly by the horrible people that work here and to their dismay they have lost a customer that ordered from them at least once a week, and you will loose other customers as well as I have told my friends and family to never return to your, nasty, run down, poorly run restaurant that does not even deserve the star that I am...

I ordered online and an extra pizza was added by mistake. I immediately called the restaurant and was told 'take it up with the app, we can't refund you.' I had been sent an email from 'John's of Arthur Ave', I was directed to their site to place the order, and on the email verification it says call the restaurant for any help. I asked if they would cancel the order and the charge and I will re-order, again was told 'not our problem'. When I looked back at the email I realized it came from CHOW NOW - there is no way to call them - they are California based and you have to email. I emailed support and someone did respond and asked for the case number but nothing else. The food did arrive, but late and cold - I guess this was John's employees way of 'sticking it to the customer'. This is also the last time I will be ordering from them or going to the restaurant. You win John's - thanks for being an A**$% about it. All I wanted was some help in removing an unintended item that was ordered and you decide to deliver cold, late...

Ordered fries, a personal pie and a buffalo chicken slice.

Everything came out separately with more than 15 minutes between each menu item ... they forgot about my buffalo chicken slice, It burnt in the oven ... then proceeded to just put a new slice in without even letting me know or apologizing for the wait.

The food itself

Fries - bland unsalted and about the same as day old McDonald’s fries.

Pepperoni personal pizza was subpar, only highlight was the pepperonis.

Chicken buffalo slice was great. Just came 25 minutes after the fries.

Staff is young and seem to forget things really easily..

Price was nothing short of ridiculous... we paid $28.35 for only fries a slice and a small 4 slice personal pie.

Truly a disrespect to the name of this place. IF YOU WANT ANYTHING CLOSE TO Arthur ave pizza just go to the Bronx this place is a scam.
