For the Love of Cupcakes — Restaurant in Town of Saugerties

Edit: I now drive over 30 minutes every weekend to get some vegan and gluten-free goodies from here. Helps me get through my work week! Cupcakes and parfaits are my favorites.

Original Review: I've been struggling to find good fall-flavored desserts and goodies that are homemade, gluten-free, and vegan. Well...I've now hit the jackpot!! This place is fabulous. The pumpkin bagels could use a little more pumpkin flavor but I was ecstatic just to have a homemade vegan gluten-free bagel!! The chocolate cupcake was amazing, and the apple cheesecake parfait was one of the best vegan/gluten-free desserts I've ever had. I'm pretty sure I said "mmmm" while I was eating it. I also got some apple cider donuts which are small but oh so tasty. I live 35 minutes from here but I'm so glad a friend encouraged me to check this place out. Melody and her daughter were so sweet! We ordered a sheet cake and cupcake for my son’s first birthday and the cakes were incredibly delicious. Everyone at the party kept raving about how good the cake was! I expected my son to eat a quarter or maybe half of the cupcake, but he devoured the whole thing. Melody was a huge help in figuring out what I should order for the party. She was very personable and so nice to chat with!
