Outstanding Service and Fresh, Tasty Subs! I stopped by Blimpie at Hauppauge recently and had a fantastic experience — not just because of the delicious sub, but because of the amazing service! From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel welcome. They greeted me with a smile, were incredibly patient while I looked over the menu, and answered all my questions without rushing me. You could tell they really cared about making sure I got exactly what I wanted. The sandwich artist took the time to carefully build my sub just the way I asked, and even offered suggestions to make it better — which it absolutely was! It’s rare to find fast food places where the employees seem genuinely happy to be there and go out of their way to provide great customer service, but that’s exactly what I experienced here. In this dense industrial park we've got a lot of options. Blimpie is the last choice on my list. I decided to try this place since my bank was so close by....first thing I noticed is that the price of their 6 inch subs are roughly the price of a subway footlong. Okay, maybe they're really good. I order a meatball sub and the server skimps on the meatballs. Interesting. I go to check out and the guy rings me up for the sandwich and a drink. I didn't ask for a drink. He didn't ask me if I wanted a drink. He said "you're having a drink right?" and tried to hand the cup to me. Mary at the counter is WONDERFUL! from the first time I walked in she was immediately greeting me, helping, and just so sweet as pie. I’ve been to other locations and had no idea about the card we can stamp to eventually get a free sub until she told me! The sandwiches are so good the meat and veggies always tastes fresh, I’ve had problems at other stores where the lettuce specifically is not fresh and old an brown but not here! they keep it clean and a real lovely welcoming environment.
