I would give ZERO stars if it was an option.
I have had yet another issue to add to the numerous ones I have encountered at my local Dunkin Store. This one took the cake. I was threatened by an employee over text message, and will be looking to follow up via a legal avenue starting with a trip to my local police precinct. Here is the back story leading up until today.
I placed on 10/8/16 two orders via the app, and paid for them in advance of arriving to the store. Order #051 and Order #986 for $10.99 & $19.54. I was on my way to the hospital to spend the night with my father who had just had quadruple bypass surgery and was going to bring a coffee traveler box, and munchkins to the nursing staff. When I arrived at the store to pickup my already paid for orders I was told they had neither available. I was told that they could do nothing for me they just work there, so they guessed I lost out on the money I just spent. I contacted Dunkin to dispute this instance and was then contacted via phone by a manager who told me his name was TAG. Tag told me that he was sorry for what happened, and he will refund my money as well as throw in a box of munchkins for free, I was satisfied with this resolution. I stopped by the store last night and they have very few munchkins available and the girl behind the counter told me they were old. I opted for donuts instead in which I was given 1 dozen of. I expected to receive my money back on a gift card which I would have gladly used , but was instead given cash. I took the cash and put in my pocket not counting it and went on my way thinking all way fine.
Fast forward to tonight when the same manager texts me to tell me they made a mistake and gave me too much money and I had to bring it back to them. The message exchange got progressively uncomfortable and accusatory. I told him how inappropriate I felt it was to contact me on a Saturday night for something that was not my fault. He demanded I bring the money back and said if I didn't he threatened to come to my place of business and get it back other ways. The conversation took a very troubling turn very fast when this manager felt it appropriate to harass a customer via text message and threaten my well being and my business.
At this point while I do not have to return the money as it wasn't my mistake I am not against doing it. I do not feel comfortable for myself or my safety of my family to EVER step food in that store or another Dunkin if this is how the company supports their managers handle themselves. I will wait to be contacted by corporate to return the money via them. f

Read moreI was at this store to buy an ice cream cake, picked up from the freezer, paid and ask them to do a wrtting but before she did that i saw the lady bug 🐞 cake and asked for a switch they said NO because i already paid. But it's in your possession and you haven't written on it why can't i switch they refuse for a few min and later agreed but wont return the balance because the Lady bug cake was cheaper. And now they only have blue icing to do the writing . You have an orange and black cake and writing in blue, DOES THIS ADD UP?...
Read moreI have at least 5 cups of lattes a day I have to say the best dunkin donuts near by are LARKFIELD RD EAST NORTHPORT and COMMACKRD ..... I always have an issue with my coffee here but today I ask for a latte and they give me an iced coffee ( charge me for a latte ) and I don't know if they realize that but I drink a latte at least 3 times a day I know the difference between a latte and an iced coffee .... unfortunately it's not the first time it happen so I'm not going to come here...
