Updated 7/17/2020 Really good food and friendly staff. I’ve been here several times and the food is flavorful and always consistent. I don’t live close enough for delivery so I’ve only picked up and dined in. I went recently and they have indoor seating available again and a large tented outdoor area for guests to enjoy. Due to covid they have limited indoor seating, very spaced apart which I appreciated. We opted to eat inside because it was too hot outside and I’m very impressed with their cleanliness.

I usually order several appetizers and share entrees with my girlfriend. They have a special where you can order an assortment of 3 apps, all of which are house made, and you can tell. I usually opt for the crispy rice balls, curry puffs and spring rolls. For entrees I highly recommend the grilled sliced pork and drunken noodles. I asked the owner if I could try the sliced pork with noodles instead of rice and they happily created me an off menu item(photo below). It is the sliced pork with vermicelli noodles and veggies. Really tasty! They also have good desserts and beer/wine selection.

The staff has been really attentive and friendly every time I go, and the owner is usually there too. He remembers us now always says hello and makes sure we are taken care of.

Overall between the food and service, Raan Thai has become one of my go to restaurants. I’m glad they stayed open during the pandemic, they are one of the good ones. They get 5...

In addition to being gluten free i have allergies or sensitivity to dairy, shell-fish, MSG & Sulfites so needless to say eating out is a bit of a challenge, especially Thai food. But twice I have ordered from this restaurant and twice I have not been disappointed! I called my order in, explained all my food restrictions and was happily met with 'we should be able to work with all of those, what would you like to order'. The gentleman on the phone, Joshua, was extremely knowledgeable of all the menu items, which were safe, which could be made safe,which could be done but he would not recommend because it would not maintain the quality and integrity of the dish. He was very patient and understanding and both times I was able to get just what I wanted, and the food was DELICIOUS!

Due to COVID, I have only ordered food for take-out. Once, delivery the second time for pick up. When picking up the order, the establishment was clean and everyone was following covid safety precautions.

So far, i have tried the drunken noodles (ordered with pad thai noodles to make GF), green curry, pineapple fried rice, and mango sticky rice. I don't think I would go there again. I found them on google map, and I was expecting good food and service because their review rates were over 4.5 on google map. Also, they posted on google some discount information so it looked hidden gem. However, I was really disappointed by their service. Because of bad reception there, I asked a waitress to use their WiFi, but she didn't give me a password like "I don't know it." She didn't even try to check it. I gave up asking further about it because I didn't want to loose my happy mood. But, after that, she brought me my check before I ask her to get my check! Then, I showed her a discount ticket which definitely they provide on google map, and I asked to use it. But she said like " What's that? I don't know it." I was speechless. Can you say it is good service? I would say "No." I think their staff should know their own service at least. WiFi password too. Someone posted on google reviews like their food and taste was authentic because their staff came from Thai. I don't think so.
