Oriental Kitchen — Restaurant in Town of Smithtown

We’ve been going to Oriental Kitchen for the last 1.5 years and I just have to say they really are the best. We’ve tried so many of the local spots and officially decided we have to stick with this one. The meat and vegetables seem so much fresher than other places. The food isn’t greasy the way some of the local spots are. We never feel like we ate a heavy greasy meal after compared to what we’ve experienced elsewhere. It just seems like cleaner cooking, I don’t know how to describe it.

The staff is so nice. I bring my toddlers in with me and the staff is so sweet and chatty with them. All smiles! Just so pleasant.

My favorite local Chinese take out. In my opinion the best food, including quality chicken and beef, In the Smithtown, Nesconset and Hauppauge Area and I have tried virtually all in the 16 years I lived in the area. Others are good but, I love the food and the service and friendliness of the people who work their is outstanding. I love that they remember me and treat me great when I call, deliver or pickup. And during these crazy times I feel safe ordering and picking up from their kitchen due to their safety precautions used. I am allergic to fish so I cannot comment on seafood dishes. Not sure if this place changed owners but the sesame chicken and General Tso is not edible. There’s no actual chicken even when paying extra for white meat. It chews down to shredded plastic. I do think one of those dishes they used the sweet and sour chicken covered in the sauce 🤦🏻‍♂️
