I literally have nothing nice to say about this place.
They label themselves as a fusion restaurant, however there is nothing fusion about it. They just have different styles of food, side by side. Nothing is new or exciting. Just a basic steak menu, next to some pasta dishes, and then some sushi. But none of the cuisines are fused together, creating a new/different dish that I've never thought of before.
Service - Friday night. Only one other table in there (small wonder). About half a dozen patrons at the bar as well. One server, one bartender, and a manager I would think. So with how few people were in the restaurant, you would think the server would be bored and maybe even too present & bothersome. That was not the case. Service was so slow. We ordered a round of drinks, which took about 30 minutes to arrive. You could blame that on the bartender and not the server, but we had to hunt her down when we wanted another round, or to order food, etc. We ended up switching to bottled beer after the first round by the way. The cocktails were bottom shelf / watered down. Not one of us thought any of the drinks were any good.
Food - As mentioned before, pretty basic menu. No Japanese / Italian fusion dishes or anything interesting. We ended up getting a few sushi rolls as appetizers. When they finally came out, the presentation was a joke. It looked like they were made by a third grader. The pieces were unevenly cut, and falling apart. They tasted decent. As for the entree, my buddy and I both got burgers and the girls decided not to get anything else. We both agreed that burgers didn't have any flavor. I wanted to ask for a salt shaker but I figured by the time it would finally arrive I would be done anyway. Choices for cheese on the burger were American, Swiss, and Mozzarella. For smash burgers I love American (this was not a smash burger). Not a big fan of Swiss. And I think mozzeralla on burgers is disgusting. Unfortunately no option for cheddar.
Atmosphere - This is not something I typically look for. I don't mind little dirty hole in the wall type places. But as far as the inside of the restaurant, I suppose it's fairly nice. Not really my style at all, but I suppose it is kind of nice?
Value - 0/10. This place has prices comparable to Insignia or Prime, but it fell short in every aspect. Service, awful. Food, mediocre at best. Atmosphere, meh. Value, nope! There are a lot of much better restaurants that you can pay a lot less for and have better... well, everything. When it comes down to it, I just think that the value was the worst part. If the food was amazing and worth the (expensive) price, I could look past slow service. Or if the food was much cheaper, I could look past everything...
Read moreMy family made reservations for Mother’s Day brunch. Everyone arrived on time we were seated and greeted immediately, that was the end of our good service. It took nearly 30 minutes for us to place a drink order, 20 minutes later 1/2 the table had their drinks we had to remind the waitress to bring the rest of the drinks. We waited another 30 minutes for the waitress to come back to take our food order. We asked to order small bites for the table while we waited for our entrees. After 45 minutes my husband asked what happened to our order of Taters and fruit, this took another 15 minutes to get. Two and a half hours later we still did not have our food, again my husband asked what was happening, at this point the hostess states Chef called out they were under staffed. He asked why were we not informed earlier so that we could have gone elsewhere. We were promised at this point food would be out in 5 minutes. Ten minutes later we started to get up from the table to leave at this point the waitress started to bring out one plate at a time, meals were not complete as ordered, did not taste good. Finally a man came over stating he was the manger my husband was explaining his disappointment, the manger started to interrupt him mid sentence. None of us completed our meals, we were there for over three hours upset is an understatement. Not...
Read morePicked this restaurant as a new place to try for our anniversary dinner. We read the reviews, and liked how people described the place as “ cozy, and elegant”. I’m not sure where this is coming from because it was as if we were in a completely different restaurant. When we got there you could hear the music from outside. We walked in and 1/2 of the restaurant was Set up like a club. It was all dark and had a DJ blasting music. When I asked the hostess if there was a party, she said that the music was from their brunch ( it was added 5 pm ) and that it would be stopping soon. Well it didn’t stop for the entire time we were there . And elegant? Well the dining area did seem nice- dark upholstered chairs, chic lighting. But then there were several large screen TVs in every corner playing football or drag racing. This is elegant? They ended up closing off one part of the restaurant, but through the hallway right behind our table you could still hear the music blasting just as loud.we could barely have a conversation. The food was “Ok” nothing special . The cocktail menu was genetic. Drinks you could get anywhere . We got a $70 steak that was dry. The waitress came back once after our dinners came , never again until we asked for the check. Overall, not as it was described online or in the reviews. We definitely won’t be...
