We found this place on a whim coming back from a convention at the Hyatt, and boy what a great find! Sake was warm and yummy. We went with two app specials. The Blue Crab Bomb was a round crunchy shell filled with tasty crab salad. Excellent. We also had the fresh Belon oyster from France grilled in garlic. Delicious. We also ordered two rolls for our entrees: The Long Island Roll and the AnA Roll. Both were excellent. The Long Island Roll was particularly well balanced, a pleasant surprise considering the amount of components that goes into it (filet minion, shrimp tempura, lobster, spicy tuna, wow). We ended with the deep fried red bean ice cream. Ive never had fried ice cream before, but this has now set the bar for me. Crunchy tempura and fried dough outside, pillowy whipped cream middle surrounding a ball of red bean ice cream inside. I’m saving this place as a “go to food spot” next time we’re traveling to/from Long Island. Oh yea, cool sink in the men’s bathroom which was also very clean. Just had to...
Read moreI ordered here for pick up, and I showed up at the time told and I still ended up waiting almost an hour to get my 2 rolls and kani salad. I can understand busy but this was extremely unorganized. Multiple different people asking me which order I’m picking up for, when I already told multiple other ppl And yet my order is not ready for an hour when I called it in. I also paid when I arrived so when I FINALLY get my order, I am ready to leave. As I leave I’m being chased out by some lady yelling about how I need to pay (which I already did) and she is ripping the bag out of my hand wasting even more of my time bringing me back in to check, all for nothing. The worst part about the experience though was that when I get back home to eat my Kani salad after a few bites I see a tiny white spider I almost threw up. I’ve never been so disgusted. I will never ever come back here and I don’t think anyone’s else should either. I recommend Kotobuki, it’s in the same area and way...
Read moreA & A Sushi may be a small spot, but it truly delivers an authentic and satisfying Japanese dining experience. Perfect for a quick lunch, this restaurant is a hidden gem known for its efficiency and consistently excellent food.
I often find myself choosing between their affordable and well-portioned bento box or indulging in their straight sushi offerings, both of which never fail to impress. The bento box is a standout—beautifully arranged, packed with flavor, and a fantastic value for the price. Meanwhile, the sushi is always fresh, expertly crafted, and bursting with that unmistakable umami perfection.
Whether you’re in a rush or just craving a quick taste of Japan, A & A Sushi is a go-to spot that never disappoints. Its intimate size only adds to the charm, making every visit feel cozy and personal. Highly recommended for anyone looking for quality and convenience in one...
