So we sat down and were in for a treat when we saw that the waitress that had served us on our previous visit was our waitress again. “Wasn’t she our waitress before?” my friend bashfully asked me. “Yes!” I replied, astonished at my friend’s top of the line memory. We soon placed our drink order, “Two strawberry lemonades, please!” and the waitress accepted our request with no further comments- only a smile. This attitude was greatly appreciated, especially after one of my last visits to iHop where I was told that the strawberry lemonade had “ran out”… likely story. Anyway, our drinks came out in a matter of seconds and we began to engulf the cool refreshing taste of strawberries into our mouths. The waitress came over once again and asked if we were ready to order, which we were. We ordered from the 3 For Me Lunch menu and got a Chipotle Tex Mex Bowl… something along those lines. The lunch special came with chips and salsa and, I kid you not, those chips and salsa were out in the blink of an eye. “Wow… that was fast!” my friend commented. I had to agree, but I had no words, I was astounded at the service! The rest of our meal went smoothly, and the bowl came out just as fast as the rest of the meal had. The only concern was the spice level of the chicken, but to be fair my friend is not too good with spices. Throughout the meal, our waitress had noticed multiple times that we had finished our drinks, and, without question, brought us new ones. Her attentiveness and observation was unmatched. The real treat came at the end of the meal. We paid with the conveniently placed touch screen (very efficient!) and were about to get up when our waitress came over one last time to ask if we would like another round of strawberry lemonades to go. I looked over to see the smile on my friend’s face and knew that we would definitely be getting those- they were free so why wouldn’t we! After these were given to us, we gratefully exited Chilis after saying our goodbyes. I can definitely say that I will be returning. The service, atmosphere, and food quality were just splendid. The price was even better- we both only paid 9 dollars! The time I spent with my friend was even more enjoyable because of the kindness in our waitresses...
Read moreI would choose less than a star if I had the option. I live in a different county but it had been a long time since we had Chili's so we placed an order online for a pick up time 45 minutes in advance which gave us a ton of extra time to get gas and in case we had any unforeseen issues.
We get a call when we are about 5 minutes down the road from them ( about 15 minutes until the request pickup time ) that they didn't have one of our items in stock and tried talking us into replacing it with another app.but when asked a question about a replacement item they had an attitude like they couldn't be bothered to check. We decided to get nothing since it seemed inconvenient to them and they said they would take it off the bill. I entered the restaurant 1 minute early and had to wait over 10 minutes for our order. After a few minutes of waiting someone asked if I was picking up, said that they had to have a manager issue us a refund for the item they didn't have, and wrap up and bag my order. After the wait there was no receipt or anything to sign which confused me. I asked if the item we didn't receive was refunded to our card and I was told that was taken care of.
To the meal which did take a bit to get home but all of the food was barely warm and not very good like it was slightly heated in a microwave and thrown into their styrofoam take out containers. I would rate the meal edible or sub good. My wife's meal was boardering on bad.
Fast forward to today while checking our statement the item was never refunded. So manager doesn't know how to properly stock items for their restaurant, doesn't know how to process a refund for items ordered online, and has incompetent staff who will lie straight to your face or ignorantly misinform you. My wife calls to inform them of this error, talks to the manager, and then get's placed on hold for over 20 minutes waiting for the manager to supposedly make good on the issue by issuing coupons or something for the inconvenience. Utterly disgusted by the lack of customer service all around and probably will just eat the loss. I doubt I'll ever go back unless dragged by others for some special event...
Read moreChilis Somers is the best! All of the staff are so nice. Justin, often at the bar, is so polite and attentive. Dani is a ball of fire! Undene is probably the nicest server I have ever met. She is quick, she checks in on our, and other, tables to see if we need anything, our order is always right, and she seems to love her job! The Manager, Jen, stops by our table to make sure everything is OK, and I have heard her speak to her crew in a very supportive manner. She motivates her team with her honesty and sincerity. It is clear to me that she takes the effective running of this restaurant very seriously. I have seen Jen all over the restaurant and in the kitchen talking to staff like a coach should. The food is always hot, always as described, and always delivered swiftly. The servers who bring the food are amazing too! Logan is the GOAT! He brings our food and always asks if we need anything. All of the above are the crew that we have the most contact with, but others like Matt are part of the best team I have ever seen.
