TASTE Gourmet Deli & Catering — Restaurant in Town of Somers

This is the best place for a quick bite in Somers, hands down. I am from the city, and I was uber-disappointed with the selections up here (I used to live next to Agata and Valentina, so I was never hard-pressed for excellent ready-to go vittles). Then I found Taste, and I have had their soups (awesome) their salads (well-proportioned with great dressings) and their hot food (omg: once a stuffed pork with crunchy onions; can you say yum?). Today, I was moved to write this, because, after picking up my regular salad and getting home to find it, for the first time, under-par, I called them up because I need to keep the only good place up here good....I told the owner about my disappointment, and she not only apologized immediately, she (get this), had her guy DELIVER ME A NEW ONE....this place does not normally deliver, get it? WIthin 15 min I had the excellent salad I had grown to love on my table. Trust me; if you are in Somers, don't waste your time...

I come here for my regular lunch whenever I can. I work at a major company in the area and the cafeteria is awful. For about the same money I go to Taste for a huge selection of delicious foods...I've had a number of hot dishes (esp chicken chili), salads (esp both types of kale) and premade items (quesadilla with corn salsa). I've actually never had a regular deli sandwich because there are so many other options. There is very little fresh quality food in Somers so Taste is an oasis in the wasteland...highly recommend! And the staff...
