Carvel — Restaurant in Town of Southampton

Happy 90th Birthday Carvel! I can't imagine living in this world without Carvel ice cream. While I have reduced the size of my cup, over the last few years my own cups and then some, runneth over. I look the other way once a month in the summertime to indulge myself and enjoy every spoonful. As a kid, nothing compared to this decadent ice cream. The soft serve was King! Now, I cheat and do enjoy their frozen yogurt products from time to time, but the rich, creamy flavor is not to be duplicated, anywhere. Carvel is fortunately located on Jobs Lane in the Village of Southampton. I imagine they sell the most Fudgie the Whale birthday cakes! Stop in, stroll the Lane and sit by Agawam Lake and enjoy life. It just doesn't taste any better...

What? It's a good Carvel, about the same as the others, except with slightly higher prices compared to other areas, and larger portions to compensate. A medium is a large for the cones, be careful! They do offer some rare varieties and flavors of iced cream, like the Vienna-Lady-Fingers and Cookie Dough Sundae Dasher (depending on season). No complaints....

Everything about the place was good except for the fact that they only have about ten flavors of ice cream. And they didn't have vanilla crunchies. I love those vanilla crunchies. If they actually had all the flavors this place would be five...
