Chris and Joanne, where do I start? They make you feel like family. C&J went above and beyond for us – because of course we had a little pickle thrown at as 5 months before our wedding day. C&J helped us find a new venue, made sure that we remained calm (well me… my husband is as calm as they come), and was just there for us. Chris and Joanne are professional and such kind hearted people. PS go out and try CJs American Grill in Mattituck its honestly amazing. Food… East End Caterers: their food is absolutely amazing. I wish I ate more. Everyone and I mean everyone loved the food. Cocktail hour was amazing – they set up a few plates for us to eat in our bridal suite which was so nice because as soon as we went to cocktail hour it was chatting and picture time with everyone. The food was honestly so delicious. Passed horderves were to die for, cocktail hour tables were set up so amazing and delicious, action table phenomenal, dinner trio was so good, and the dessert came out amazing as well. Jane – our day of coordinator. I don’t think I could have remained as calm if she wasn’t right by our side. It rained (briefly) and we had to decide if we wanted to move the ceremony inside – Jane just let me know everything was going to be alright. Weather right after the drizzle was gorgeous. My husband and I were married at Pellegrini Vineyards on September 1, 2019. From the very beginning, Joanne and Chris made the process of selecting the food for our wedding so easy. Joanne was, and is to this day, literally the most responsive person, let alone vendor, I’ve ever come into contact with. My husband and I work full time and would do a lot of wedding planning at night and it was to the point where I almost felt bad emailing Joanne late because I knew she would respond right away. Not only that, she is ridiculously experienced and has a great personality. She helped us select our menu, offered ideas for various speciality things we wanted to do (a mac and cheese bar!) and was extremely helpful with organizing other aspects of our wedding. Besides your venue, your caterer is the most important vendor to deal with regarding the flow of your day, and it is important to choose someone who knows what they’re doing. Tina was our maitre’d, and she was so sweet and professional. Tina was instrumental in coordinating our day and in helping us with all the little details. Our guests raved about the food, and we opted for East End’s “trilogy” selection, which was super unique and like nothing I had ever seen before. We also opted to do late night grilled cheeses and burgers, which our guests also loved. We loved working with Chris, who was genuinely excited for us and executed the entire evening flawlessly. My wife and I were recently married at Brecknock Hall in Greenport, NY. Chris and Joanne of East End Events Catering were highly recommended by the venue staff. Needless to say, we met with numerous catering companies, but when we sat down with Chris and Joanne it was completely different. My wife and I immediately felt welcomed, like we were sitting with old friends. The duo's warmth and subtle confidence were enough to quell all of the worries we had in past meetings. After the first sit-down, we knew we had made our choice. The following year was decision after decision, Chris and Joanne were there each step of the way. If that was not enough, they paired us with Jane, one of the maître d's on staff, she was beyond helpful and creative to boot! The three hit every detail, promptly answered all of our questions and made the process enjoyable, even from a groom-to-be's point of view! The team helped sort through the endless choices that characterize today's wedding-planning industry with just enough clarity to drive home the important points while fostering our creative vision. Their professionalism, industry knowledge and complete dedication to their work is second to none, and the food, well, phenomenal, it has been the topic of conversation in both our families since our day.
