The Clam Bar @ Alize Brewing — Restaurant in Town of Southold

When we arrived, no one brought over any menus. We waited about an hour and a half for our food. About half an hour after we ordered, we were told they were out of one of our dishes. We never got our waters. I ordered a Chicken and Burrata salad, and when it finally arrived, they forgot the Burrata - it’s literally in the name of the dish. Our waiters came so infrequently that I had to get up multiple times to ask for things (water, burrata, our check). Since the dining room is around the corner from the bar, we legitimately felt like they forgot about us. When they came to clean up, a waitress even admitted that sometimes they forget there are people in the dining room.

Finally made it to the Clam Bar! What took us so long? Excellent food, some of the best food on the North Fork. Service could not have been better. The place is bright, fun, a nod to nostalgia and 2 nods to being near the Sound and Bay. Outside seating is a plus. Buffalo wings were the best we’ve had. Burrata plate and belly clams were perfection. The blue cheese olives in the Bloody Mary were a very nice touch. Locals at the bar were evidence that the Clam Bar has a following of...

So glad we checked out Alize Brewing Company while vacationing in Greenport. The vibe was immediately welcoming. We were greeted as soon as we entered. The food was amazing, prepared to perfection. I ordered the Grilled Ribeye which melted in my mouth. I can’t stop raving about Tradewinds Brewing Co beer. I tried the lager, which was delicious but my favorite was House Boat IPA. We will definitely be returning and can’t wait for...
