The Taco 105 — Restaurant in Town of Southold

Didn't end up ordering because on the Uber app this selection was the first category. So, from what I see it appears they'd like to charge $10,00 extra for a delivery that's being handled by Uber eats and that I'm already paying someone else to do?

A single taco delivered would have come to $21. Insane. Not sure what would have happened if you didn't select the fee and charge yourself and wasn't interested in finding out.

All I know is this grift isn't acceptable. Food already costs too much, so to double charge for delivering even though they aren't involved in the delivery is something customers shouldn't have to accept.

Edit: To be clear, I'm not upset about Ubers delivery fee,I have Uber one and pay monthly for that, I'm upset the restaurant added their own section for an additional delivery fee to the Uber App, which if intentional is disgusting and if an accident it's something they need to correct inside their Uber Eats account by removing that non-applicable section from their menu items.

Condolences to any customers who added that fee to their order not knowing.

So, as an example I added one taco to my order, then the bogus delivery fee ($10 as I'm 7 miles away), proceeded to checkout, Uber added taxes and the actual delivery fee, and without Uber one the total would have come to $36, for a single taco, without tip.

The rating isn't based on the food, it's based on my experience with the business, which so far hasn't gone beyond the ordering process. That is the reason for the rating. Fix the issue, and I'll be sure...

I can't believe it took me a year to get here. I kept wanting to go and things would change. Boy was I missing out. Had a night alone few weeks ago was getting late so grabbed 2 tacos . I could not decide what to get. The owner recommended 2 and they were fabulous. I recently brought a friend who is very particular on what he likes and a big foodie. Sometimes takes a lot to please and he cannot wait to go back. It was during the strawberry festival so no one was in there. Again the owner was incredibly friendly and giving advice ,talking about their recipes etc. He recommended Oyster po boy taco I never would order it. Omg was amazing I can't wait to get it again. Chicken nachos weee amazing, my friends Jamaican taco was amazing. Was perfectly fresh, filling and a great comfortable atmosphere. I highly recommend trying if you haven't. They are in a tough spot on the south side of main road across from marketplace and know they are very limited on the signs they are able to put out for people to notice them. They stayed open for the tough winter for the locals and very honorable hard working people. I can't wait to go again. Support them you will not be...

I’m sorry I didn’t photograph my Greek Salad Taco - it was delivered looking like a work of art! I never have ordered any Greek Salad with chicken, only my wife enjoys it that way. This Greek Salad Taco, however, came with pulled-chicken and the combination was INCREDIBLE. Hands down, the best Taco I’ve ever eaten, anywhere, in any Town, County, State or Country!!! We visit the Clovis winery often enough and this place is very close. Our new routine will now include bringing our friends and family to The Taco 105 every visit we make to the winery. There are so many other ‘Country-Specific Taco’ choices on the menu that I can’t wait to try other specialties!!!
