Going through Mustachios menu, the 1st thing I noticed is that they are a bit higher priced than the common, greasy pizzeria. That said, the extra couple of bucks you spend here actually makes a big difference.
I thoroughly researched this place all I could before deciding which new pizzeria to try. Love LaNova but their prices are getting insane...
All the pictures of the food from Mustachios looked awesome and the reviews were mostly positive so my wife and I decided to order from here.
So glad we did! We have ordered twice now and haven't had any experiences that weren't top notch.
The pepperoni pizza has a lot less sauce than most. Which is perfect for me because I don't like tomatoes. They also use the right pepperoni too.
Do yourself a favor and try the chicken, bacon, and ranch pizza. We smelled it the whole drive home and it was every bit as delicious to eat as it was to smell!
The garlic bread situation is a touch odd. They use a sub roll and slather it with garlic butter which I've never experienced before. We ordered a whole with cheese and it was great. My advice though is to bring it home and pop it in the oven for a few minutes. They wrap it in tin foil to bake and then wrap all that in wax paper which locks in all the moisture. By the time you get home the bread is a bit soggy. I'm not complaining. I just don't want to see bad reviews for something you have been warned about.
Calzones here are fantastic! Not a spot of dough was under cooked which is rare in my experiences. They give you 3 items but the ricotta cheese is included already and doesn't have to be 1 of the 3 items. Nice touch there.
So far this place has knocked every item we've ordered outta the park. I literally have 0.0 complaints. Try them out for yourself and I swear that you won't be...
Read moreWe both just got off work and we're super hungry, and with almost everything closed by 9pm on a Friday night our choices are limited to mostly fast food. We're very loyal to our local pizza place, but like I said sadly they close early. Looked on Google and seen that they were open till midnight. So with not expecting anything great we decided to give em a try. We ordered online a few surcharges but whatever there open and were hungry. Super easy ordering, my wife usually does it cause I get frustrated and end up throwing my phone. Said it would be delivered by 10:34 got there a little early so that's a plus. I ordered an assorted sub and my wife ordered a turkey club and we both got fries. Let me tell you this was by far BEST sub I've put in my mouth, wife backed me up with hers, fries were banging, yup a simple order of fries but man they weredelighted. So tonight, bills game what are we doing? Getting a pie and some wings. Youve set the bar high Mustachios lets see if you deliver. Lets gi Bills lets get this...
Read moreWe tried the spinach, ricotta and mushroom specialty pizza. I’m sorry to say this, but we all found it extremely disappointing. I envisioned it as your standard design of having crust, and then red sauce, and then mozzarella, and then spinach, mushroom and ricotta. And that’s what it should be. Instead, what they do is spread this very thick layer of mushy ricotta-spinach paste over the dough and then put mozzarella on top of that and throw it in the oven. It comes out with the crust on the bottom and the cheese on the top being hard and crusty, and everything inside is a mushy, squishy mess. Including the dough being undercooked on the inside. And we could barely identify any mushroom bits, although there were some. The spinach ricotta glop seemed like something they buy pre-made and frozen, and it’s really something that you would expect inside of a manicotti or lasagna or ravioli. Mustachios needs to get back to the drawing board and produce a much more simple and honest spinach mushroom...
