Ordered for the first time from Aung Family Restaurant. EVERYTHING was delicious. I ordered Thai coffee, tempura shrimp, samosas, Udon soup and red curry so I could sample. The shrimp was battered well, crispy outside, with tender inside, the shrimp was fresh and deveined. The Udon soup was seasoned well, with delicious grilled chicken and half a boiled egg. The samosas were crisply fried and full of seasoned vegetables that were soft but NOT mushy - the sauce has perfect flavor and heat. The red curry is rich and creamy but with enough spice to keep it from being too rich and cloying. I ate a little bit of everything. Great portions. We was waiting 40 mins for the other spot to make our food n this place was close by decided to check it out and I am super impressed! Quick service,the food here is soo much better not greasy at all, egg rolls weren't mushy, I watched them making fresh food at their little table the people there are super friendly large portions flavor on point! Only down fall was their homemade duck sauce was well a little on the spicy side but tasted great! All I know is I have a new Chinese spot. Please, guys keep up the tremendous work you do. Read moreI've been here a few times, the food is good. It is a family-owned restaurant. There is not much in the way of service besides ordering and paying, however, the young woman who did serving my food seems nice enough.
The decorations on the inside and outside of the restaurant are quite dated, with much of their decor being faded. Makes for a bit of a drab eating experience. Nonetheless, I liked the food I got the laksa noodle curry with chicken ( I'm probably spelling that wrong). I like spicy food so I did use all the spice they gave me and it was good.
