Called to make a delivery order was rushed off the phone because she was "busy" (which I understood). Food was delivered fried wontons were spoiled (taste like old milk with the lumps in it kind of spoiled). The sesame seed chicken taste strange and the sauce was very dark. My friends fried chicken wings (and rice) were a little different than normal Chinese restaurants but was edible.
I called immediately after receiving our order for a return on the wontons and sesame chicken. She was very rude said I was joking and no one ever complains about her food (the google reviews I later read says otherwise) she refused to send her driver back out and hung up on me. I called back insisting on a refund or I was calling the health department she then said I have to bring it back myself and to make sure I don't touch the food and hung up on me again. I had the food delivered because I wasn't feeling goof and my friend doesn't drive. I don't believe she thought I had a car. I drove ALL the food back. BTW NO ONE else was in the store and they weren't making orders for delivery ect, so how "busy" was she?!
She tried to give me $23 on a $38 order I informed her I did want any of it, even the fried chicken because of her customer service. She inspected the food and said she still have to pay her driver, I told her if they would have came to pick up the spoiled food she could have kept the delivery charge and tip but now I need a full refund plus the tip. The driver encouraged her to pay me even pulling money out of his pocket. She then told me don't order from her again. I inform her she couldn't PAY ME to order spoiled food and rude customer service (I didn't say it that nice because I was tired of her).
Like another review says, I believe they served my returned food to another customer. The way she was inspecting it made me think that. NEVER EVER,...
Read moreI placed an order on Uber eats with them on Christmas Day. It was an active restaurant, it did not say that they were not accepting orders so I put an order through. It allowed me to put an order through. My driver waited there for over an hour And then when he was wondering what was going on they told him they weren’t doing Uber orders anymore, but refused to honor the order that was already put in by me. I ended up having to cancel my order, and my husband called them to ask them why they didn’t at least honor the order that I placed and he was going to go offer to pick it up himself. The man told my husband that he was wasting his time! But again this was an Uber eats order and they had it open on Uber! He was extremely nasty to my husband, and I will never order here again! I completely understand that they were busy and overwhelmed, but that is terrible business and you honor at least the orders that have come through already!...
Read moreWanted my traditional New Year's dinner from Ling Lings. Don't know who is leaving 1 star reviews or why. After reading them, I thought maybe it was different owners, or something major changed. Found out there are new owners. Any changes have been for the best. My friend ordered last week, and said her food was still as good as always. So glad I decided to order from them again. I had the Tien-Fu lunch combination meal, wonton soup, egg roll, and an order of crabmeat rangoons.... Everything was excellent ! Cooked to perfection. Eggrolls better than ever before. I specifically go there often for the wonton soup which is filled with wontons and very flavorful. Also the crabmeat rangoons, are the best ! So, trust my review.....The other 1 star ones are probably written by the competition.....who want Ling Ling's customers... Never gonna happen...
