Very clean, local fish market. Prices are reasonable. One of two places where I purchase my fresh Ocean Perch (5 stars)

Update: I went to buy some more of the lovely, fresh perch I raved about. This time was not so pleasant. A young lady seen me standing by the fresh fish and since she did not have a customer she took my order. I ordered 25 pieces of perch. She spoke to the manager/owner and I went to browse the shop until he brought the fish up. A few moments pass when I turned to notice what appeared to be my perch being dropped in the fryer. I asked the young lady was that my fish, she looked and stated "oh, I'm sorry I forgot to tell them you wanted it fresh" No problem for me, easy fix. Well when she went to tell the guy to stop and I wanted it fresh, He had a fit. I mean embarrassed himself. Yelling and telling me I should of said something and I shouldn't be standing there I was. (Mind you was standing on the FRESH FOOD section before I was called to the cashier). Well I did say something also, to his cashier. I tried to explain that I didnt cause the issue and I was more than happy to wait for the rest but this guy was so nasty, he was listening, telling me to go bc there isnt anymore. Another customer came to me and apologized for the owner actions, Another customer!! Needless to say, I spent my money else where. He may not have cared he lost a customer but my colleagues, family, and friends will NEVER partake in such place that allows such rudeness to people. If you THE Buffalo fish fry experience in your own home, come to the Kenmore Fish Market. They have it all - delicious fried haddock (or yellow pike if you call and order ahead!), french fries, onion rings, potato salad, macaroni salad, Cole slaw, tartar sauce - the works. Call ahead and they will have your order ready! So I'm talking about convenience - how about the fish? Fantastic! I love this place. I love their food. Not sure but it seems family run. Always the same people taking great care of you; always friendly service with a smile and a "thanks for coming." And today I got a "Merry Christmas" from server, and from the boss. Fantastic service and delicious food. This was our 1st time there after saying for years we would go, and as soon as I tasted the food I wondered why we waitied so long. We split a fish fry dinner and a scallop dinner along with gumbo and collard greens. I know, thats a lot of food. Everything was great. Fish was crisp and hot, scallops were fried perfect. Gumbo was very Nawlins tasting and the greens were as good as I've had in awhile. The line moved fast and everyone was so nice. The only drawback is not much seating in the restaurant.
