Going to dine-in at the beginning was a decent experience. The waitress was polite and decently fast in the beginning, we opted in for the Eat & Play dinner. The waitress assured us that she can add the new tokens to an existing D&B Card. So we gave her the cards and our orders.
It was relatively slow in the restaurant portion. Maybe two couples at the bar, 3-4 other tables to busk. After placing orders, we waited about 30-35 minutes for the food. It seemed as if during that wait time the waitress was avoiding coming back to the table to offer refills and check in on us. Which would be understandable if it was busy that night. After looking over at the kitchen, you can see the food orders that were being placed in showing as red on their screen. Most likely meaning that they’re falling behind in getting the food out for all the tables. After receiving the food, which was almost cold due to sitting up on the counter, a manager checked in with us to make sure we were doing alright. After that we never saw the waitress come around. When she did was to quickly take plates and walk away before you could ask for a favor. At the end, we paid for the meals and went to go play games.
This is where things started to take a turn for the worst. I previously had 200 tokens and 12,000 tickets on my existing D&B card, the one I gave the waitress to add the Eat & Play tokens onto. I played two games and quickly noticed it said I had only 24 tokens left on my card, that math is not mathing. I scanned it at the machine and saw I now had 24 tokens and 77 tickets. The waitress had completely erased everything I had on that card and started it as a new one. Because you CAN NOT add Eat & Play dinner tokens onto an existing card. Would’ve been nice to know that beforehand or even if she stated she’d have to check if that was possible. So we bring it up to her, she fetched a manager. The manager looks up in their system and saw the error that she made. Stated that they can only put 9,000 tickets back onto my card and play with the remaining 24 tokens. So I pushed back stating that the tokens amount and ticket amount are not correct, that this was an error on their end therefore they need to amend it.
After standing there for 20-25 minutes, arguing with two managers about their mistakes. They call the GM who told us that they can’t even give me the 9,000 tickets back now. I would have to take the time out of my day and vacation to call the general helpline to fix this issue. (Not even sure if this is something they can or will fix). They go and call the IT department, they also state they can’t do anything and for us to call the general line tomorrow morning to fix it.
Then we were told that we can go back and continue playing games, with the only one working card we had (my boyfriends), while they were holding onto mine. Afterwards I grabbed my card and walked away after the nonsense that was being spewed at me. My boyfriend informed them of the missing 200 tokens, again, and then they said they could help compensate that by putting 300 tokens onto the card. So in reality, they gave me the 200 tokens I originally had, already had an existing 24 tokens on there, so only 76 tokens were added to help compensate.
I received everyone’s names that I talked to tonight and will be giving a call to the number they provided to me in the morning. I would recommend you use the machines and manually add any tokens onto the cards yourself. Along with expecting slow service if you eat there. Never had such a downright, negative experience like this at a Dave...
Read moreVisit was on 8/18/24 about 3:00 in the afternoon. Horrible experience! Way too loud! Couldn't hear my dining companions or the server. Waited forever for our drinks. Appetizers came out hot and tasty although took too long to get. Main meal took :45 to come out and was completely cold for all 7 of our party. Server no where to be found! Restaurant was less than half full. Food quality not as expected and overpriced for what it is. Server was pleasant but never checked on us and we had to waive them over from across the restaurant several times to get service. Asked to see the manager, they never came over. Took forever to get our check and pay our bill. Again, had to find the server and waive them over. Between games and food, it was a wasted $275 outing! Games overpriced also! The noise would have to tone done and the food quality would need to be stepped up for us to return. Restaurant is about 2 weeks into their grand opening. Can't believe there was not seasoned management and experienced kitchen and wait staff present to support the restaurant operation. My suggestion to corporate is to have a floor manager make at least one stop to all tables to be sure everything is good. It's back to Chuck-E-Cheese and...
Read moreOur visit was on 5/17/2025 at approximately 5pm with very few customers at the time. Our experience Highly disorganized staff, extremely long wait for service and food (1.5 hours), 1/2 of our table was practically finished eating before the rest of our table was finally served and even then, we had to remind the staff of food and drinks still missing/still not served. We noted other tables being served who arrived long after we did while we waited for the rest of our food orders to reach our table. The steak quesadilla had a large bone fragment that hurt my teeth when I bit into it. The manager attempted to make it right by offering other entrees - which we had NO interest in at that point. They did reduce our bill in an effort to satisfy us. My first experience at Dave & Busters was highly disappointing, to say the least. I have no intention of ever going back. I hope they get their disorganization figured out and find more attentive staff that actually care about customer's experience in their...
