This wonderful little hidden gem of a restaurant and bar is perfect for a great meal.
Upon entry, we were quickly greeted by the warm and welcoming smile of the owners adult son.
The quaint, festive and well lit atmosphere was very pleasant and relaxing. Lovely aromas of cooked spices filled the air and made me smile.
We were shown to an available, nearby booth that was spacious, well decorated and very comfortable.
The menu looked well thought out, easy to read with photos showing many popular dishes and sides with reasonable pricing.
The chicken chimichanga meal that I ordered and the taco meal my husband ordered came with refried beans and mildly seasoned rice and was fantastic.
Fresh, colorful ingredients and generous portions filled our plates. We thoroughly enjoyed every delicious bite.
The owners son politely checked with us often to make sure we were enjoying our meal. We chatted pleasantly about how much we appreciated their restaurant. So impressed with their ability to survive in these trying times.
Definitely going to recommend Grandma's Mexican Restaurant to my family and friends and we will go back...
Read moreThe kids working there had no clue how to attend to people let alone stay off their phone. I feel like the young gentleman that was helping me could have explained more about what comes with what combos go with what what they’re able to do what they’re able not to do as far as serving for instance, I want just a steak he says well it usually comes with other stuff. I said I just want the steak . He said OK. The steak came. It was too small pieces at the end. I asked him how much was that steak? You don’t mind me asking and he said same price as it was on the menu I was like yeah but I didn’t get anything else. He said well you got two pieces of steak for our kid out of a happy meal I have eaten Mexican food in the past in other locations they give you a lot of food . Also, the flavor is not authentic. The beans are from A. Can the guacamole is from A can the portions on everything were really small We left out of there hungry I wouldn’t recommend someone commented before for basic people. It’s OK the people that look for a real authentic Mexican food...
Read moreMy wife and I ate at Grandma's Mexican Restaurant tonight for the first time. The food was amazing! Tasty, hot and plentiful. What more can you ask for? This is a family run restaurant and the owners are very nice people. They are trying very hard to please their visitors. These are recipes passed down from the Grandmother along with much coaching on how to prepare them exactly right. It's worth a drive to experience what high-quality family style cuisine is all about. You'll be blown away by the menu, the hospitality and how delicious everything is! Update: We ate a second time a few weeks ago and the food was great! We are going back tonight. Check out all the very positive reviews. All are praising this great place except for two. One is from a guy that admits he never ate there (why did he submit a negative review if he has never eaten at Grandma's) and the second is from a phony internet troll account (Courtney Morales) with no other reviews (not to...
