In response to the review below me, I would like to add a few details they missed out. It was VALENTINES day tonight. The service was a bit slow, BUT! There was TWO servers, and ONE sushi chef. ALL extremely friendly, apologetic, and VERY grateful to have us. I understand the frustration of having to “wait an hour” or however long it actually was, (I was there for over 2 hours by choice, enjoying our reservation, so I did a lot of looking around. NOBODY waited over an hour to get food. Different entrees, also take various amount of times, along with the large gorgeous sushi platters almost every table was ordering. Again, one chef. Two servers. That’s it. Cut them some SLACK! Holidays are known for it being busy. Perhaps this time could have been used to enjoy Valentine’s Day with your partner, instead of leaving a bad review about the servers who were VISIBLY AND AUDIBLY trying their very hardest, busting their asses, being extremely kind, AND getting every single table what they needed. We had an appetizer even competed off our check “on the house” written- as a surprise to us, for the slower wait times. Or go to a chain restaurant that’s packed with employees who only want your tip. Every single dish we ordered was absolutely delicious, beautifully presented, and HOT when it arrived to us. Salad was unbelievably fresh. Same with the calamari, gyoza, everything we got. AMAZING! We will be back. We gave the servers a 25% tip to show our appreciation for how hard THEY...

It was my first time going to Lover's Sushi and Hibachi.

I will start with the service. It was friendly and attentive, stopping to ask if everything was good. The presentation of the food was a work of art. The Miso soup was delicious, not really salty, which was nice. It was the first time I've tried Miso soup. Next was the vegetable spring rolls and the pan-fried pork dumplings. The spring rolls, a little on the small side, still had a nice taste, especially when dipped in the sauce that came with it. The dumplings had a wonderful taste and good flavor. Next time, I will try them steamed. My choice of main course was. Vegetable Yaki with udon noodles. It had nice size vegetables, and the noodles were cooked perfectly. The dish didn't have a lot of salt, which was nice. It was very filling. A family member ordered the chicken tempura, and it came with tempura vegetables as well. The presentation of the dish was beautiful. The chicken was moist and delicious, and crunchy. The vegetables were a food size and delicious as well. Especially with what looked like a sweet potato pancake, which had an amazing taste. The whole dish didn't have an oily flavor. Not salty, either. For dessert, we tried the green tea fried ice cream. The presentation of this was also beautiful. It was good. They have many amazing dishes on their menu, including many sushi dishes. As well as non sushi dishes. It's definitely worth a look if sushi...

WOW. Where has this gem of a little restaurant been hiding? We got the chashu ramen and it was incredible, the pork was flawless, tender, and very flavorful. The fat on the outside of the pork belly was wonderfully rendered, so there was no chewiness or soggy, gristle bits like I've had other places. The broth was stellar, the noodles had a nice bite, and the marinated egg was delicious. We also got agedashi tofu that was very smooth and tasty and an order of softshell crab that was p e r f e c t i o n . It was crunchy and juicy and delicious. We drove an hour to get here because we were hankering for noodles, and honestly I was a little wary because it didnt look like much from the outside, but WOW the food was good, the people were friendly and our whole dinner was under 40 bucks. I cant wait to try it when they're reopened for dine in, the restaurant itself looks cute and they've got an awesome looking drink selection, but for now this is my new favorite takeout spot! We didnt try the sushi, but certainly will be in the future, if it's anything like the rest of our food it will be tasty! I didnt get a photo of our dinner because both my hub and I couldnt wait to dig in, but the food looked just as good as it tasted! Definitely give...

First time here and I was glad I tried them. Don’t let the deteriorated neighborhood with several closed storefronts deter you. Just come inside this lovely restaurant, you’re in for a treat. The hostess/waitress is very kind and welcoming. The food was delicious. The Japanese green tea is delicious and they kept my cup filled. We had the 3 sushi roll lunch special, and a steak bento box. We also did a sushi pizza appetizer which was excellent, a little greasy because of the fried scallion pancake, but worth it! It could honestly replace a small meal if you were just feeling peckish. The rolls were tasty, I ordered the eel with avocado, spicy tuna, and salmon skin roll. I wouldn’t get the eel again, just in my opinion, they were tasty but crispier than I expected. I’d get the other two and try some of their fabulous looking rolls from their menu photos. Also the bento box with the steak looked fantastic, and tasted great! It comes with rice, california roll and fried shu mai. I might get that another time too. So many great options! They also have ramen bowls, and poké bowls, both sounded so tempting from their menu!

Absolutely amazing sushi and service. I got three rolls that had nice hearty pieces. The sashimi is so affordable, has more than a dozen slices, and tastes clean. I have no idea how this place isn't more crowded because it's a gem. Even the decorations on each plate are so well-executed. For $80 I got three specialty sushi rolls and an 18pc sashimi dinner, and I was stuffed. I highly recommend the Golden Salmon roll that had seared salmon. It has a lovely smokey flavor and just enough eel sauce. The Godzilla roll was a bit chewy for me but had great flavor. The Iso-Maki roll was fresh with an avocado interior but definitely needs to be dipped in the ponzu they provide. Service was polite and timely. The interior felt very homey and inviting with all the bright colors and soft, pleasant Japanese music. They also give you an entire can of soda instead of giving you a watered down glass like other places! I'm definitely coming back here.
