A single rude employee is the reason I won't go back. Here's why: A family member of mine placed an order over the phone, give credit card info, and I was charged with picking it up after work. We hadn't been to this place in years and wanted to try their food again. Big mistake. I walked in to pick up my order, gave my family name, and the woman at the register (middle aged woman, dark hair, glasses, probably been working there a while from what I could tell) told me I had no order there. I asked her to check again because we had been confirmed our order over the phone and had given credit card information. She didn't bother looking, simply demanded that I had called their other location by mistake, and I should go there. I walked out of the building to call my family member who placed the order, and they were able to confirm that the Warwick location, where I was standing, was the place they called. My family member called the location and, quite rightly so, wanted to know what had happened and who took the credit card info if no order was placed (a valid concern.) From what I'm told, more attitude was given over the phone to my family before I even had a chance to walk back inside. I got to hear the tail end of the exchange, and I was not happy with what was said to my family, and then she hung up on them with a slam of the phone! I stood there and repeated, yet again, that I had an order here and to check again. This time, she called another woman from the other room, who was apparently a new hire. This was the person who took our order and ran it through. She explained to the first woman that it was sitting in the cabinet not six feet from the register where pick-up orders waited for customers to arrive. My order was right there behind the glass, and was one of only two there. Plainly visible. The older woman tried to scold the new hire, but I insisted that, from what I just heard, she had done everything right to process the order, and that the older woman had been too lazy to check for an order in a place she should know those orders wait in. I didn't allow her to abuse this new hire by blaming her for something she clearly could not be bothered to do herself, and I found that to be VERY unprofessional, especially in this pandemic economy where people are struggling to find and keep jobs. Treat your employees with more respect! Don't take advantage of them being new to blame them for your shortcomings when you should know how your own business model operates. Additionally, treat your customers with more respect. We're trying to support you, too, through this pandemic, and if your business sales are already down, turning away more customers is just going to make it worse. But I digress. I thanked the new hire, told her straight up that she had done everything correctly while the older woman tried to make excuses and tried to talk over me the entire time, blaming the new hire while she herself hadn't looked past her own nose to help me, the customer. I walked out with my food, fairly frustrated and determined to avoid Franico's in the future. I guess I should have read the reviews first, because it seems the word "rude" is used very often to describe this place. Oh, and in case you were wondering, the pizza...
Read moreI went there about a month ago and had a stromboli. The outside was completely burnt but the inside was very raw. I was sick as a dog for the next 3 days after that. My sister asked me to call and order a few pies today so I figured hey lets give it another chance, maybe last time was just an off day. As soon as I called I was greeted on the phone with an attitude. I looked past it and tried ordering. Nick (the man on the phone) was upset that he did not undrstand my order. He told to "calm down I am talking too fast"I repeated it and he then asked me for my number. I said the first few digits and then when he said okay, I went on. As soon as I started speaking he then again told me to "calm down" in a very rude manor. I finished telling him my number and when I went to ask how much he kept talking over me telling me how I should make an order. When I asked the price the last time he then started yelling at me with and attitude again telling me to calm down again. I then told him I do not want the pizza because of his rudeness and he said "yes Thank you" amd hung up. This is not the first time I have recieved an attitude from nick but the other employees tend to be kind so I keep coming back. Unfortunately this is the last time though. If you like getting paying someone who treats you like dirt for mediocre food, this is the...
Read moreThe food for starters was not the best. Our server was kind so shes the one who can take credit for the star. However, horrible checkout experience. Serving young adults with disabilities, a young woman was rushed while making a payment telling her to hurry the heck up, and a fellow coworker was yelled at being told that he's not rushing her he is "Just Being Frank!" And continues to complain then tries brushing her off as her individual makes the payment he yells past them asking who's next and my coworker kindly states that she needs to pay still as well as another young individual with us. Co-worker kindly asked that he please be patient when working with kids with special needs they are trying their best, he yells at her again asking "Are You Next again Lady?!". She said "no, but thank you" he raves that hes the owner there and hopes she go ahead and "Call the President to Complain" amongst many other crude remarks yelled and snobbishly yelling to clear the entrance as we made our way out. Definitely one of the most embarrassing and frustrating situations I have ever been in with the people...
