17 & Orchard offers an impressive selection of all-natural candles that are perfect for any occasion. The quality of the candles is exceptional, with each one being hand-poured and made from the finest natural ingredients. The scents are beautifully crafted and holistically created.

In addition to the natural quality of the candle, my other favorite aspect to the store is the ability to make your own candle. Michelle offers a unique experience to cultivate your own scent, how cool. I will be joining more future classes to make more of my own candles. At the same time though, each new scent I purchase from the shop becomes my new favorite scent. Cheers to never ending good scented candles. My staple scents are Vienna, Aspen, Tokyo, Paris.

My friend brought me to 17 & Orchard to make a custom candle for my wedding day and we had THE best time here. Neither one of us had ever been to this shop and we both were in love the second we stepped inside. Michelle who is the owner spent uninterrupted time with just us, as we were lucky enough to get a private class. She walked us through the entire process and helped us create the perfect combination of scent oils for each of the candles we were making. She was even successful in helping my friend step out of her comfort zone and fall in love with scents she never considered for herself. While we waited for the wax to harden at the end of the process, she kindly offered to allow us to make little bouquets of flowers using the beautiful fresh flowers, sold in her store. She was so sweet, generous and helpful in our entire experience there. We both walked away with the perfect candles, lovely floral bouquets and a ton of respect for this business. We both can’t wait to come back and do more projects! Thank you Michelle...

Can I give 10/5 ⭐️ Best candle class ever! My friends and I did a Saturday afternoon candle class with Michelle and it was so awesome 🤩 Michelle was a great teacher with a very good energy and was patient. 17&Orchard had the best candle scents and Michelle’s advice was 💯 to make everyone’s candles truly unique and professional. I had never been to 17&Orchard Candle Studio so I was also super impressed with the store itself which was very cute with amazing handcrafted candles by Michelle (of course) 🕯️ but also very fantastic local NY teas, cards, and all other fun unique gifts. Definitely recommend this local shop for a fun candle making class for a friend or family bonding event. We did brunch before which was perfect....
