Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Town of Webster

I remembered I had coupons and wanted to grab something quick.

I walked in and saw two employees. One young woman (standing with her left hand on her face) and a man bending down behind the counter. The man greeted me and then the young lady greeted me. I then gave him my order. I watched as he grabbed a pair of plastic gloves and proceeded to slice my meat.

I then watched the young lady grab a pair of gloves and asked me about my toppings. NOW, NEITHER OF THEM WASHED THEIR HANDS PRIOR TO GRABBING THE CLEAN PLASTIC GLOVES!

Another man came out of the back area, WASHED HIS HANDS, put on a pair of plastic gloves, and asked me if I wanted to purchase any cookies. I said "no" and thought maybe I should walk out.

Needless to say, I did not walk out. However, I thanked the guy who rang me up for washing his hands prior to putting on the plastic gloves. I explained to him that it's pointless to put the gloves on if you do not wash your hands first! Whatever contamination on your hands was on the plastic gloves and now on my food!

I asked him if he understood, what I was saying and he said "yes." I also asked him if he was the manager, and he told me no.

I am sooo disappointed in the manager as well as the young lady who prepared my food for not washing their hands FIRST!

As I mentioned when I walked in the door, the man was bending down behind the counter, and the young woman had her hand on her face!

GOING FORWARD, PLEASE ALWAYS WASH YOUR HANDS BEFORE PUTTING ON ANY GLOVES. OTHERWISE YOU MIGHT AS WELL JUST MAKE THE SANDWICH WITHOUT ANY GLOVES...

If I could leave a 0 I would, just had the worst customer service experience ever. Short guy with long hair in a pony tail was rolling his eyes as soon as I walked in. They close at 9 and I walked in at 8:15 ??? Was banging cooler doors shut and clanking silverware very loud as he was making the food and then slammed my sub on the counter after it was done. He seemed disgusted at the site of a customer in his lobby. Very disappointing experience and would leave most people feeling unwelcome and uncomfortable. Unfortunately, you will not see me back at Jersey mikes again because of this experience...

Great tasting subs! The sizing is huge! Definitely getting your moneys worth! I want to thank the night staff. My husband and I get off of work every night at 9 same time you close. I don’t get to your shop until about 8:45…8:50 and I know how frustrating it can be for someone to walk in when you are getting ready to close. Not ONCE has anyone complained (not to my face lol) that’s how it should be! Always had a smile and said we understand when I said sorry. Keep up the great customer service i greatly appreciate all the staff and of course the food is amazing!! Store is always...
