While I don’t find myself in the Buffalo southtowns often, I was down there this past Thursday and grabbed a large cheese & pepperoni pizza and an order of fingers and fries to take back to the office to share with everyone.
The commentary was plentiful, frequent, and all positive!
It started from the moment that I walked in the door with people asking what smelled so good.
The pie, with a mix of Papa’s sweet and regular sauces looked like a masterpiece!
Their sauce gives the pizza an unapologetically unique and delicious taste that all four that tried it loved. It was absolutely delicious!
An odd comment that I have to make is that this seems to be the only pizzeria that actually knows how to cut their pizza! It comes apart as it should, without ripping it to shreds.
The cheese is great and offers a nice pull. The cup & char pepperoni is the perfect topping for a simple, everyone’s gonna love it, pizza.
Papa’s fingers were also fantastic! Ordered medium, they were not overly sauced and had a very light amount of seasoning, perhaps pepper, added.
Give Papa’s a try, you won’t regret it! Just apologize to your current favorite...
Read moreI was lucky enough to be passing through and had heard great things about the food here. First things first, the customer service provided by the two ladies at the front was absolutely amazing. I initially planned to order just one slice of pizza, but after looking at the menu and seeing the option of sweet sauce, I decided to order a quarter pie, which equals three slices, for $7.75.
I went back to my vehicle to wait for the pizza and returned with my four-year-old. When I picked up my order, I realized it was just cheese pizza instead of cheese and pepperoni. The ladies at the front immediately offered to fix it and even gave my son a complimentary drink while we waited. They promptly brought me my cheese and pepperoni slices.
When I opened the box, I noticed they had drawn on the top to indicate which pizza was regular and which was sweet. Great touch! The pizza was very tasty, (the sweet is really sweet) and the customer service was unmatched. Thank you for a wonderful experience. We will...
Read moreLet me start by saying I gave this place more than one chance and they have fallen short both times.
My first experience included me waiting an hour for pizzas, only to be told after an hour that they ran out and my order was being put in the oven then. I figured since we went on a holiday, it might just be because a lot of people were ordering.
Fast forward to today. Another hour wait for a pizza. A server walking by with what we thought might be our order… only to see them eating a slice of pizza as they walked through a dining room of customers (twice). Our server also dropped off additional blue cheeses holding a crust that she was eating. I sincerely hope hand washing is of top priority here. I honestly couldn’t even finish my food after seeing that.
Food is decent but it doesn’t need to be such an ordeal to get it. Take out times appear to be much better, if you’re dining in you likely will not be impressed or even checked in on for a bit. Would...
