Awful. The service from start to finish was not at all inviting or comforting. The server seemed uncomfortable with the characteristics and size of our party. We were a party of seven and were quickly told to be seated at a specific table. Undecided on whether or not we would stay at this pizzeria, my boyfriend sat at the table next to us. When the server noticed him not sitting at our assigned table, she rolled her eyes and snapped at him. Our server made a poor attempt to explain that the table she sat us at is the only tale that could seat us. I quickly reassured her that he was never planning to sit at that table, she huffed-and-puffed under breath “what is the problem”. As someone who has worked as a server, I understand the boundaries of following a tight seating arrangement - but seeing as to how we hadn’t even been there for a full five minutes, the proper thing to do is to let your customers settle in, or at the very least- ask politely if you would prefer them to change tables. I also want whoever reads this to be mindful that our party was the only party inside of this establishment. I also should note that the restaurant was extremely dingy. The flies were everywhere. The seats smelled unkept. To end this terrible experience, since none of us had the chance to taste the food, while we walked out one gentleman was seated outside at the front of the restaurant and his food appeared extremely unappetizing. Falling apart at...
Read moreJust had one of the most bizarre experiences in my life. We have been coming up to Santa’s Workshop for the past 11 years staying at the Hungry Trout each time. Today (12/3) after visiting the work shop, we stopped at Fratelli PizzaII for lunch. We were a party of 5, myself, wife, 2 children a mother in law. As we were entering the main dining room, the front door remained ajar for several minutes. At which time, the women inside opened the take out window and in a curt, rude tone told us to shut the door because the fireplace would go out. I replied that she could be nice about it. We entered through the main door looking to use the bathroom. This same women said to us and again in a nasty tone one at a time to the bathroom as we were standing in the back area. I told her to relax and thanked her for the hospitality. She replied by telling me to go F myself. She was very hostile and said she was the only one working and had her year and a half old child with her (child was shirtless playing on a couch). That alone gives me insight about the person we were interacting with. I told her that she didn’t have to be a b* about it and she told us to leave. It’s truly mind boggling that this person works in the service industry dealing with the public. I will unequivocally never patronize this establishment. Simply...
Read moreI recently had an incredibly disappointing experience at Fratelli Pizza. After a wonderful ride enjoying the area on our motorcycles, we decided to stop at this empty restaurant, expecting a pleasant meal. Unfortunately, it was far from that.
First off, the food was mediocre at best. Extremely expensive, with barely any fries included in the dish, and the portion sizes were ridiculously small. To make matters worse, they told us at the beginning that they couldn’t split the bill, which is ridiculous and inconvenient for a group. And then we found a 20% tip already included in the bill!
As if that wasn’t enough, they charged a ridiculous $5 for a Pepsi. Our total bill came to $175USD for five people, and that was without any alcohol or second meals. This place is a complete rip-off. Save your money and go somewhere else where they actually value their customers and provide decent food. We complained to the waiter, and although my friend left the same review on fb, they’re lying about us complaining. As Canadians we’re sorry...
