OK, so this is hands down the most incredible hotel stay experience I've ever had. I worked with the Adirondack Spruce Lodge for our wedding room blocks (July 2018) and not only were the accommodations themselves excellent (cozy, rustic, Adk style lodge decor with spacious, clean and easily accessible rooms), but the SERVICE these people provided me and my family over the course of our stay there was to the extent that I can honestly say our wedding day would not have been the same without Keith (Manager) and Lyndsey (Guest Services) of the Adirondack Spruce Lodge. From checking the weather for us the week of, accommodating early check-ins and late check-outs, helping my little sister practice her Maid of Honor speech (seriously), providing an incredible breakfast spread including my favorite donuts, surprising us with champagne and chocolates, offering their main lodge area for us to use when we saw thunderstorm warnings for our wedding day, shuttling us (and our centerpieces!) to Fern Lake, and driving me to the wedding in Lyndsey's sports car after I realized I couldn't climb into our SUV in my dress...to say that these people went above-and-beyond for us as their guests is a gross understatement. In fact, when I was working on flower arrangements in one of their rooms (pardon the mess in the photos...the mess is all us!), I heard a knock at the door. It was my dad, holding a beer that they apparently gave him upon check-in, saying "Is this place even real???" We all had the same reaction. The location in Wilmington is walking distance to a few places to eat, and the rooms share a sweet little backyard with access to the patio and hot tub. PLEASE GIVE THIS PLACE YOUR BUSINESS, they are incredible and you will not be disappointed. Thank you so much Keith and Lyndsey!!!!! HUGS -Eli &...
Read moreBest place to stay in Wilmington, by far. We arrived here around 11pm the first night and Keith was very accommodating and extremely friendly. He offered to make us something to eat and get us anything else we might need/want.
Breakfast the next day was awesome! One of the best hotel breakfasts I've ever had. Plenty of fresh fruit and berries, fresh bagels, croissants, and donuts, delicious juices and coffee, in addition to much more.
The beautifully decorated room seemed brand new with plenty of amenities. The beds were exceptionally comfy!! The bath towels were huge, unlike other hotels, and extremely soft yet absorbent! We even wrote down what kind they were to buy some for ourselves!
The reception/lobby area has some of the most comfortable genuine Italian leather chairs and sofas you will ever sit in, and a nice fireplace to cuddle up by on these bitter cold winter nights. You will fall asleep in these chairs!
I highly recommend staying here if you ever need a place to stay in Wilmington, they will make you feel right at home...
Read moreOn February 16th, 2018 we stayed at Adironak Spruce Lodge for the weekend. We checked in and were greeted by Keith and we're immediately impressed with his friendly nature. He personally showed us to our room and you got the sense their was a sense of pride and great care put into the entire experience. Throughout the weekend Keith and his Wife Amy went ABOVE and BEYOND. It was my spouses birthday and Keith made a call to Amy and later in the evening we went to the lounge to visit and relax, and Keith had cheesecake for her birthday. We spent the night by campfire with smores meeting great people and it all as a result of the way Keith and Any run that gemstone in the mountains. We will DEFINITELY be going back, frankly it was the BEST place I've ever stayed at and completely as a result of the owners who are 2 terrific people. You leave feeling like you made friends, and with our departure we were greeted with a goodbye hug. Such personalized service!! Thank you Keith & Amy: You made our trip...
