My husband and I went to the Twisted Raven for dinner on 10/4/23 due to good reviews. It took a 1/2 hour just to get a glass of water When the waitress finally returned, we each ordered a cup of French Onion Soup and the rib-eye sandwich. ($17.) While we were waiting another couple left, we should have followed them. When our sandwiches came they were cold, with a pathetic piece of unmelted cheese. Then came the soup, and finally silverware! We felt the waitress was avoiding us and ignoring us. When we finally got her attention we asked that our sandwiched be put on the grill for a few minutes. The soup was horrendous, the onions were not caramelized, , a slice of unmelted cheese just sitting in the broth, there was too much thyme and it was absurdly sweet...yes sweet! Neither of us could eat it. While waiting we observed the waitress berating another couple in her section because they should have told her they were there. We were embarrassed for them. Our sandwiches returned!! Finally! Still cold with unmelted cheese. We were hungry when we got there, and hungry when we left. Obviously, we will...
Read moreAbsolutely love the twisted raven!!! We came in with a 7 top, and the server that took us you could tell had a very busy day and lots of tables however if you have never been a server you would never have known. She handled our (a little crazy group🤣), SO well!! She was attentive, fast, accurate, and always made sure our drinks were full. The owner was working that night too and came to see how everything was.
One thing I will say they did super well is as some have experienced when going out with a bigger group and foods being done at different times someone’s food always comes out cold that was NOT the case here! They timed everything very well that we all got our food at the same time and it was all HOT and ready to go!
As someone who has worked for a locally owned restaurant I love seeing that the owners truly care about their customers!! 10/10 we will 1000% be back again:)
Thanks twisted raven for always making us feel welcome and serving us HOT food...
Read moreHad a great afternoon here. Outdoor seating was nice with a little view of the surrounding hills.
Cold beer and my wife's wrap was really good. Anyone can do a caesar wrap, but this was particularly good.
The main reason I'm here, is I'm a spicy food fan. I always order a restaurant's hottest wings, and I'm almost always underwhelmed. "Careful, they're really hot!" is usually followed by mid-heat. Not here. The two hottest sauces are "badss" and "raven hell," which they said you have to be 18 years or older to order and the 6 wing challenge required a waiver... I thought, sure- sure. I ordered them badss with a side of raven hell. -I've never been so humbled by a restaurant hot sauce- I was beyond impressed with the heat in these sauces. I couldn't eat more than four, and I've never been so happy to finally find REAL spicy wings live up to the hype!
Overall, we will be back. Staff, drinks, food, view,...
