Chipotle Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Town of Woodbury

Worst chipotle location ever & its just odd, first time i went originally they said they weren’t open and it was 11:30AM on a Saturday, next time we went on a weekday & they were open and the food was just okay & tried it again a few days ago on a Thursday and the tacos were completely stale to the point my dog wasnt to interested in the food & room when he smelt it so you know its bad… otherwise the food was okay again but not memorable at all, for a brand new location its so disappointing! They just need to step up there game in order to compete with other businesses in the area. The service was pretty slow for take-out & luckily checked the bag before leaving because they forgot a drink and a couple items in the bag. I have since reached out to chipotle cooperate about this location on the first incident where we went on a Saturday at 11:40AM and they claimed to be “closed” yet on there door it says 10:45am “daily” and it seemed like they were making there own hours as they specifically told me “try to come back at 1PM and we could possibly be open” which makes absolutely zero sense, if something is going on and you cannot open on time then why are the doors open and people inside? Oh and let me not forget to mention there was a guy sitting on the side stuffing his face with a burrito while watching a video on his phone. If you cannot open on operation time then leave a note on the door bare minimum honestly. Make this location make sense with all the screw ups. The manager even came out and told us to leave now in a rude manner. Unprofessional in every way shape or form, especially with the review with the person saying they had literal plastic in the meal they were given & another saying something odd looking was in the meal they were given. This location needs to be shut down, knocked down & put something else like a five guys here! Don’t recommended this new location at all! Chipotle drive thru is pretty good that’s the only upside of this place. !AVOID THIS MASSIVE HEADACHE! It makes me annoyed when as a company with millions of dollars you take a year to build the place, then get terrible workers in the place to serve you trash, do better as a company chipotle! Oh & also, the parking is an entire other mess.

IMPORTANT READ: Let's start with the space itself. For a place that just opened it's not very clean. While it's not horribly dirty it just isn't what you would expect for a newly opened restaurant. The bathrooms had no hand napkins and little to no toilet paper. The tables weren't spick and spank clean but nonetheless there was pieces of food and left over used napkins on some of the tables. The floor was decently clean. Service was horrible. The workers were scattered all over the place but I suppose I can't say much about that as I don't know their specific jobs. Moving on to the food, it was cold and the portions were very small. I asked the woman working up front (the only lady up-front while 6 or 7 other workers attempted to look like they were doing something) for a bowl starting with white rice. Simple enough, I thought 'How can you mess this up?' She messed it up 🤦🏾‍♀️. I received half a spoonful of rice in my bowl... What am I supposed to do with half a spoonful of rice? I asked her for more rice and she looked confused as to why I would ask that. The rest of my bowl was around the same size as the rice. My friend got a burrito and he got half a half a spoonful of rice which is even crazier and FIVE strands of mozeralla cheese. I kid you not FIVE STRANDS OF CHEESE!!!! She looked scared to even grab the cheese. He also asked for double meat and the portions were the same amount you would receive if you didn't ask for double. After all this we sat down to eat and the food was a huge disappointment being cold and us finishing it in about 3 bites. I would not come to this specific Chipotle...

Absolutely horrible experience. I know they only opened 4 days ago, but the experience tonight was absolutely inexcusable. I don't mind the app order being late this soon after opening; however, having the manager lie about the free quac qr code for downloading the app not working all day and the employee having to set him straight about it is not good. But the worst part is that the person making the order couldn't reach the ingredients to make the burrito easily and her stomach kept touching the burrito as she leaned over to get another ingredient. It's not her fault, they should have given her some type of assistance or given her a job that would have worked better for her stature. It was also unfortunate that the burrito was literally ice cold. I live only a few minutes away from the store and the car was warm, but the entire burrito from the foil to the center was as cold as if it had come from the refrigerator. On a positive note, after microwaving the burrito it was good and the quac was good too. I would have averaged the stars and rated this location as 2 stars, but I took off a star for contamination.

Also note that the regular portion size of the burrito is much smaller than I have seen in the past at other locations and is much too small to cost $10. BUT... you can ask for extra of anything except protein without paying more and that is worth $10 for a fast...
