Dice Bowl — Restaurant in Town of Woodbury

I went to Dice Bowl for my friend's birthday party recently, and it was an awesome experience. The store has a huge selection of board games, covering all kinds of themes, mechanics, and difficulty levels. Whether you're a casual player or really into board games, there's something for you.

What really made the experience great was the owner. He’s super knowledgeable and does a fantastic job explaining how to play, so you’re not spending forever trying to figure out the rules. I had trouble understanding parts of Lords of Vegas and Moonrakers, but he was really patient and helped break things down in a way that actually made sense.

One thing I really liked was that if you enjoy a game, you can buy a copy right at the front of the store. It’s a nice touch that makes it easy to take your new favorite game home. The atmosphere was great too—super welcoming. Plus, the owner was testing out some new menu items for a soft launch and let me try the steamed pork buns, which were really good. The coffee was also surprisingly amazing—honestly, it could rival a legit...

If I could give them 10 stars I would! $10 gets you 3 hours of unlimited use of their HUGE library of board games. These games are well organized, well taken care of, and the owner is versed in every single one! He even came over and helped us set up our game and understand the rules so that we could jump right in. When I say there's something for everyone here, I mean EVERYONE - all play styles, player counts, and ages.

And that's all without mentioning their adorable (and more importantly, delicious) refreshments served in the cutest cat cups. It's also conveniently located right off of several major highways which makes it so much easier to get a widely spread friend group together!

I came here for a 1 year old birthday party and I think the adults had more fun than the kids. The ball pit next door was for the kids and Dice Bowl was offered for all others. My son had a blast in the ball pit while the adults played board games. Even after running around the jungle gym he had played some age appropriate board games with kids his age. The owner, Jonny, what a magnificent host. He gave us all easy to learn but challenging games. Explained each game with enthusiasm and clarity. I have since went back with my family to play board games. This is a family friendly and adult friendly board game lounge that can create wonderful memories with your family...
